Very sold knife!
Great knife! Grip is amazing. One thing to know about Cold Steel knife’s is they have big handles. It’s a plus and a minus. Edge? Razor sharp! Profile is very nice. I hope they make a “camp boss” this knife just slightly scaled down. Your choice is sold on this one.

Superior quality for the price
Clip is very tight extra effort needed to clip in pocket If you wanting a super thin knife this it Handle is perfect as a back up knife to survival or bug out bag. Easy to open, but a thin handle

Outdoor carry or just a great edc knife
Great knife for the money. It's my outdoor carry knife. It's lightweight and still gives you a 4 inch blade.

Great design handicapped by the lowest of low rent blade steels
A fantastically light, thin, easy to carry full size 4" blade design that is massively handicapped by its trash can blade steel.. If you thought 8cr13mov was budget then Cold Steel has you covered. Their 4034 and 4116 edge holding abilities are well below even that. Truth be told this would be a 50% better knife if it used 8cr.. I have 14 Cold Steel folders and this was the biggest disappontment of all. If they had just used their excellent AUS10 that is used in the Airlite, Voyager, Spartan, 4max Scout, ect this would be a 9/10 edc. Priced at $50-60 bucks it would be a 5 star knife all day long. I bought this because i own the now discontinued Broken Skull in CTS XHP and because it is now irreplaceable, i no longer edc it. This knife with AUS10 would be 8/10ths of a Broken Skull. And that would put it up there among the all time CS greats.. Im actually surprised Cold Steel puts their name on any knife that is not at least D2.. I mean in this day and age, even the cheapest $25 Chinese folders give you properly heat treated D2 and for any Cold Steel to be bested by some no name Ganzo is flat out embarrassing.
