Pre-Code Treasures
This is a fascinating collection of pre-Code Hollywood films. Of particular interest is "A Free Soul," written by Adela Rogers St. John and partly based on one of the cases of her father, the great attorney Earl Rogers.

Classic Early Hollywood Films
These pre-code Hollywood flicks are some of the best ever produced. These are films with an edge. Soon the edge was smoothed by rules which ended the industry's freedoms.Out of this group came Academy Award winning performances, as well as some early glimpses of Clark Gable and Bette Davis. Norma Shearer in "The Divorcée" alone is worth the price.If you enjoy early movies, this collection contains some of the very best!Another set with an equally classic group of early 1930's movies is Forbidden Hollywood Collection Volume 1. I'd consider going for the pair. With the two sets, you'll have your evenings planned for the next couple of weeks!

Nice DVD
Really nice dvd but the last movie on it had quite a few problems. Bought it for that specific movie.

One of Wild Bill Wellman's best
Oh my God. Night Nurse alone is worth the purchase price. It has to be one of Wellman's best. My jaw dropped a few times during my first viewing. Gritty and realistic, it has quickly become one of my favorite pre-code films. Barbra Stanwyck is incredible. Clark Gable is savage.
