Comparing this rod to my others this one is very well made, the rod connections are smooth with a snug fit and the finish is great. I loaded it with some $20 Piscifun WF3F and it casts like a dream! I now have two Aventic Rods and they are both great…..

Bought this fly rod for saltwater fly fishing. I wanted a heavy weight rod and found this 10 foot 8 wt rod at a great price. It comes with a very nice clear plastic tube case that is handy for storage or travel. The rod has a great fit and finish with a deep green color. The cork handle is premium in my opinion. The rod is light weight and cast a country mile. Very happy with my purchase.

Opening this package the top of the rod snapped off. Never got to use the rod. This should not have broke, it was stuck in the foam packaging.

I was very surprised at the quality for such an inexpensive rod. Love that it came with an additional tip section. Used it on a hike to some high country to fish alpine lakes and it performed beautifully. Casts as well as some much more expensive rods I've owned. I'll definitely be buying more rods from Aventik

Fly Rod used for small mountain streams. The shorter 7’3” rod made it easier to maneuver and cast in the woods. Caught a few small trouts and the tip stood did not break.Highly recommend this rod. You don’t need to spend $100’s of dollars for a fly rod.Tight lines!

This is a fairly stiff fast action rod. It casts surprisingly for well. Fit and finish seems very good. The cork handle seems high quality and the real seat is excellent. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the color. The green color is too bright for me. This is a 5 weight 8.5' 4 piece rod. I'll be using this for occasional trips and for that it's hard to beat.

I ordered this rod that came yesterday. Spent the morning on my local pond casting poppers for bass, and this fly rod was very impressive. It easily performed as well as my name-brand rods...

I've been fishing for 40yrs. This is not the best quality rod that you will buy, but for a back up or a starter rod this is a great choice. The action is great. The finish is good, the real is good. The onkything that droped it to a 4star is that the real seat is slightly loose. A plastic playing card shim fixed it. For $100 and for a rod that is occasional used (mines a 0/1 weight) its a good buy.
