Review: FOUND THEM! - FOUND THEM! The one I've always used. Short enough for my FINE & THINNING gray hair. Some have complained they don't hold. I beg to differ - I pull in the hair with the comb, pulling it up, clip it closed, then letting the end of the comb rest on the nap of your neck and pull your hair thru until it feels tight, like you do for a ponytail. Sometimes after shampooing, I pull it up and put pin curls around and down the sides, let it dry. Then comb out into a beautiful curly pony mane, even for the next day or two or. a LITTLE hair spray helps in the Oklahoma winds. I love, love, love these clips/combs. Really like the white one.
Review: Good for thin hair - I really like these for my thin hair. I wish I could get a package of only clear combs to blend in with my blonde hair.

**Q: Do they open to create 2 sides, can you not separate them (being binded together) and only open it from the middle?**
A: First  of  all  they  are  very  small,  and yes  you  can  open  them to create  2 sides.  I  send  mine  back  because  they  were  to small.  The  size  is for  a  kid,  not  a  grownup.  Good luck  with  it

**Q: How to unsnap banana clip?**
A: It only unsnaps from one side by pulling the sides apart.

**Q: Do these have silicone to prevent fine hair from sliding out?**
A: No they do not,  I have very fine, thin hair and have not had a problem.  Suggestion:  Spray your hair with a little dry shampoo to "thicken" it and then put in comb.  These 6 inch ones are small and you should not have a problem.

**Q: are they comb like**
A: They are comb-like but too small. The 7" original banana clips, made in USA, are on Etsy!

You get what you pay for..do not buy if you have thick hair. They are very flimsy but they hold up okay.
