There was a missing piston (or whatever it is called to raise and lower the chair) but the seller shipped one separately right away. I've had them for 10 months now and they've held up really well.

These stools are very comfortable. The quality and comfort are amazing. They adjust from low to very high. My husband is 6'2 and weighs over 200 pounds. He can sit and relax comfortably in these stools. They swivel very nicely and transition heights smoothly. They look much more expensive than they actually are. We bought them to use at a bar counter that is 42 inches high and they work perfectly. We are very pleased with this purchase.
