Finally something work
I have struggled with ear wax problems throughout my adult life and have had to seek expensive professional care numerous times. I’ve tried drops, that silly rubber corkscrew gadget and every fabled cure I’ve heard of. When I ran across this on Amazon, I thought “what have I got to lose?” I ordered it and it arrived the next day. I chose to add it to my daily shower routine because I found managing the cup awkward. The power of this thing is impressive. After a week of experimenting with different angles and not seeing any actual evidence that wax was being forced out, I tried adding different jaw movements and head tilts. Voila! I was rewarded with a pea sized glob of wax and my right canal was noticeably clearer. I thought my right hearing aid was failing, but it suddenly worked much better. I highly recommend this product. It’s very well made if you give it a chance, it will serve you well.

Better than using qtips
This is an interesting device. Cleans your inner ear using water. It is weird using this, have to be honest. I believe it is working well, but i'm so used to using the cotton tipped stick things. I get itchy ears and the cotton things let me get that scratching satisfaction.I'm not getting that feeling with this, but I have to say my ears feel refreshed after using it. I'm not sure what the water temp should be. I've done warm but it still feels really cold! Maybe the inner ears is really hot in there. My G/F loves using this. She also has the itchy feeling but finds this ear cleaner very soothing. She has recently had some dizziness and this made her feel much better. She uses earpods all the time and I think this helps her cool off and relax. It is weird... but she loves using this.I'm using the gentle stream and she uses the one stream above gentle. We have been using this later in the day as we are usually in a hurry in the morning. We are testing this as we want to get one for my older parent and wondered how easy it will be for him to use. It really is easy. Just one thing... MAKE SURE IT IS FULLY IN EAR because as soon as you hit the power button, it starts squirting! It is easy to charge, but I will say, would be nice if it was USB-C port to plug in. I'm afraid of losing the cord. It has extra tips so if you want to share this with others you can each have your own clean ear piece.Oh, only charge it when it runs out of juice, per mfg recommendations. Don't let it sit plugged in too long, like I think a couple of hours, again, per MFG.Hoping this travels nice... as we get used to it, we are going to want to take it with us on trips. I wonder if they have a travel case for it...This is worth getting. It just feels weird at first use...

Easy to use and stylish
This ear cleaner is easy to use. You definitely need the included cup to catch the water as it runs out of your ear, but it does the job. Works best using the warmest water you can stand as it softens the ear wax. Takes a little practice to learn to get the most out of it, but the learning curve is short. Appears to be well built and looks like a high-end gadget sitting on my bathroom counter. Feels solid and like it will last for a long time.

Initially I was dissatisfied with the water reservoir fastenerIt is flimsy. Once secured however this device is terrific.

Best Ear Cleaner on the market.
Although I do not like sticking foreign objects into my ear, the main issue that I have noticed with my ears is the amount of earwax I have to deal with constantly. I used to have to deal with earwax drainage almost every day in the shower, and would have to clean it every day. After getting this product and using it for a couple of days, I have noticed its major impact. For one, the ear cleaner's tips are extremely soft and don't hurt at all. The water is also constantly flushing through the system so it's only clean water. Overall, highly recommend. The only thing is that I wish there were more cleaning modes!

Get Your Ears Clean(er)
I was simultaneously amused and disgusted by another reviewer stating that you can just "press the power button and watch all the crust come out;" I have cleaned my ears daily for many years, so I certainly can't remember the last time anything that could be considered "crust" came out. Nevertheless, I wondered if the SHIORI Ear Wax Removal Tool could take the place of traditional tools like ear scoops and cotton swabs in my daily routine. It turns out that it can, but it may not be the fastest/easiest route to clean ears.Operation of the tool via its two buttons is easy to master. The body of the tool employs a semblance of ergonomic design by way of the skinny area near the top, which provides a decent place to grip. But the ergonomics stop there; the instructions would have you believe that you can hold the included "catch cup" in mid-air under your jawline and have the outflow magically land inside, but in reality, that is likely to get water down your neck and down your shirt -- for a better experience, you will have to hold the cup right under your ear and pressed against your skin. When you do this, your body will stay dry (hopefully) but you'll notice that the tool and cup are wrestling for space because the nozzle is so short -- much like a manual spray bottle, this tool will not work upside-down or if tilted too much, so it will always bump against the cup if you want to stay dry. For the best experience, you'll need a loved one to operate the tool for you, or just use it yourself in the comfort of your shower.I tested all the settings on the tool, and since none of them were painful, I settled with the strongest "custom" setting. I used a video otoscope to check my ear canals after the first few uses (what can I say, I'm a thorough reviewer). The result? Perfectly-clean ears -- using a cotton swab after the SHIORI found no additional ear wax to collect -- so far, so good. After continued use, I noticed a possible negative to this type of tool which will not be unique to SHIORI: You will sometimes find that there is water left stuck in your ear when you're done cleaning; if you're lucky, using the tool for a couple of seconds more will help all of the water flow out, but that won't always work. At this point, you will have to jump through whatever your usual hoops are when you get water stuck in your ear -- your ears will be squeaky clean, but you'll have that fresh-out-of-the-pool feeling. The SHIORI Ear Wax Removal Tool has found its way into my shower routine where the cup is not needed, and I'll be happy to use it most days -- but if I ever need to clean my ears in a hurry (for whatever hitherto unknown reason), I think I'll still be reaching for a cotton swab.
