Easy enlargement
Such a simple piece of kit. Fit my existing hole saw and my new. Easy peasy

Surprisingly it works really well.
Had a job to change 19 low voltage downlighters which had a 66mm diameter ceiling hole for LED downlighters that had a 72mm diameter body. Not looking forward to trimming out with a pad saw so decided to give this a try. Surprisingly it works really well. Would recommend adding this to you downlighter hole saw set just in case rather than waiting until you need it for a job.

Handy in the toolkit
If you cut any amount of holes for any reason, then an "oops bit" is vital for the toolkit. Adds a method of using the current hole cut as a guide for enlarging holes.

Good for enlarging down light holes.
Works very well this hole enlarging adapter. Used it to enlarge some holes in plasterboard ceiling for GU10 downlights (64mm) to replace some MR11 downlights (38mm). Note that this is not compatible with some of the cheap downlight holesaw kits. Best used with professional holesaws and arbors.
