Easy to use and clean
This grinder is easy to figure out. The instructions on usage make it understandable for someone with little experience to make changes to the grind settings. Great product.

Very Heavy duty Well Made Grinder
From presentation to execution this is an excellent Conical Grinder. I have wanted a Conical Grinder and this came along so I thought I would try it. While a manual grinder it handle the task of grinding coffee for a fresh robust cup this AM without a problem and issued forth a very even consistent grind. Clean up (for now) just consisted of opening the top of the grinder and patting the grinder such that excess grind and dust fell out of the grinder. The box presents the grinder well for storage or for that top range gift look and so gift recipients should be suitably impressed.

Off-Center, expensive junk is flaking metal particles into the coffee
I bought this coffee grinder two months ago and shelled out because I wanted something sturdy that would last longer. Well, through natural use (never dropped it or used it roughly) the lid slowly went off center and now is grinding itself down along the edge, and flaking metal particulates into the coffee. It's unusable and potentially a health hazard, so now it's 60 dollars worth of trash. No clear way to recenter the bolt of the lid, either.

Takes some playing with!
This coffee grinder is easy to use, although it does take some playing around with to get the coarseness setting right. It’s easy to clean, comes with a pouch to store it in and grinds whole beans with little effort.

Simple, effective, and satisfying
I am the only coffee drinker in my household so this manual bean grinder is ideal for my needs. In the description it says this grinder is made of stainless steel but I suspect that it is referring to the conical burr grinder portion. I also think the rest of the body might be made of aluminum to save cost and weight.Having said that, the body feels comfortingly solid and made more ergonomic with the addition of the knurling pattern to improve grip. The 25g bean hopper and catcher cup is one of the larger I've seen on Amazon with the average being 20g and some even as low as 18g. I use a 14oz coffee mug so the 25g amount is perfect for me. The screw on design of the catcher cup is great for keeping all of the ground coffee in one place. The advantage of being metal is that there seems to be a lot less static electricity than plastic that can make your ground coffee stick to the insides. I use a Melita pour over cone and adjusted the grinder to 20 clicks as suggested and it stays at that setting. Clean up is probably the most onerous thing about this grinder, though not terribly difficult. You can't flush it with water as that will promote "rust" on stainless steel and the flimsy little brush they include does an ok job of sweeping away the grind dust but I'll probably replace it with one of those round tip brushes we used to paint with in elementary school once the flimsy bristles all fall out. Coffee beans, of course, have oils in them so I imagine it's just fine to have that little bit left on the inside metal parts. It might even help prevent "rust".Overall, a nice little contraption that provides freshly ground beans with minimal effort. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one as a present for my brother-in-law.

Great for grinding for one or two people
I got this to grind my own beans for use with my 1 cup moka pot, and for that it is great. 11 clicks does the job for me. Grinding for a larger pot may be an issue, but if you are looking for a grinder to take with you on a trip or are just grinding for yourself at home, this does the job. If you are also not sure if you are going to get into grinding your own coffee, this is a good option before investing in a decent electric grinder.

Easy to use, consistant grind size to an amateur eye, some amount of superfine grinds present
I bought this grinder for $45 and it does a great job. I am drinking coffee black for the first time. This grinder has a steel conical burr and comes with a cheap but functional cleaning brush. The design feels solid but cleaning in and around the burr and along the inside walls is difficult. The bottom container screws on tightly and securely, though I can imagine it being very squeaky once more of the black finish has come off.I started the grind size at the recommended setting in the manual (18 or 20 clicks from the base) and after a few brews turned it one more notch course and am very satisfied with the flavour I'm getting from a pretty cheap bag of Costco medium roast beans.I am not familiar with any other grinders so I don't know if this is a common issue. There are always some superfine grinds which would end up in the brewed coffee with the stock filter my machine came with. Using a paper filter prevented the grinds from getting to the coffee but if you're a stickler for bitterness, the fine grinds seem present enough to affect the flavour. You could easily use a sifter if you care enough, but at that point you're likely to be looking away from the budget grinder range. No regrets with this purchase. 5 stars. no robo.
