I’ve been using this RK Max box for just under two weeks, and am very happy with it. I’ve tried two Android boxes over the past two years and in the end I gave up on them.Set-up wasn’t that straight forward, took over half an hour, and I had to call on the expertise of my son to download the updates and configure everything, but once done it was fairly straight forward to use the box and navigate things. The big plus is the additional keyboard - no more having to type your searches in letter by letter, which for me was a tedious affair.The box receives without issue pretty much everything you would want it to including the main movie and sports channels. Now and again I have suffered connectivity issues, which my son informed me was down to the high number of users streaming that particular channel. I have just purchased a Hisense UHD tv and the quality of HD content streamed from this box is both plentiful and (in most cases), impressive.All in all, this is a really impressive little box, and coming supplied with a HDMI lead, has everything to get set up and connected straight from the box. It just takes a little perseverance to master it, but the effort is rewarded. Highly recommended.

I used this box for playing back MKV DVD rips on a USB hard drive through Kodi. My movies would get about half way through before audio and video would fall out of sync along with subtitles disappearing. I tried my hard drive on another box and the files played back properly so I know it has something to do with the way this box handles decoding video or external hard drives.

Fairly easy to set up, but painful to use. Fiddle remote. After about 4 weeks difficulty getting iplayer - kept saying I wasnt connected to wifi - though ITV hub worked fine. Tried to sort out the issue - cleared cookies, reinstalled etc etc. Then came accross Google Chromecast which is just a doddle to set up and use, and only £30. So the RK Max will be heading for the charity shop!

I purchased two of theses for Christmas presents ---Cannot get the keyboards to sync over BT. So will return them

This piece of shirt does not work. Had many cheaper ones with no problems.Yet straight out of the box this one does nothing but show a solid blue light. Despite trying different leads and setups. Very disappointing maybe I'm unlucky but right now goldfish are more entertaining.

Good picture quality and sound. But the only problem is it doesn’t work on its own without the support of antenna and free view. No extra channels.
