Upon receiving item late for an important dinner I had planned this weekend I come to a disappointing realization that the mechanism to spin and grind has detached its self and the spring just spins around and around not doing much as well as the mesh screen that is supposed to siffed spices is off kilter and the whole mechanism just seems warped very disappointing

This grinder is awsome. It gets my fresh dried herbs to a nice, easy to use powder. I have other grinders for different textures, but none seemed to get it to this level.

If your only grinding small amounts a G or 2 at a time .. Lots of waste in vial, inside grinder an grooves inside . this is made for maybe a OZ or more at a time.. An the vial comes with no lid .. Now its made VERY well but huge amount of waste

Very disappointing so small you cant hardly turn the crank and the collection jar is so small It maybe holds a tablespoon of ground spice at a time.

I got this one and slightly smaller on for me and my friends. We use it grind up our shelf spice garden leaves. Rosemary is generally very difficult to grind down into a fine powder because it is so hard. So, if you have something that is very hard and need it ground down to a fine powder, this is the grinder for you friends. Party responsibly.
