My 7 year old son recently went from a very small self contained autistic support classroom, to a full general education classroom. Needless to say he has been suffering from serious anxiety. He was coming home with soaking wet sleeves and chewed up pencils, bite marks on his arms etc. I tried several other chew necklaces. The first ones were cool but they were big and kind of attention-grabbing - big donut, a giant sloth, etc. Those were helpful but created their own problems with kids asking why he was chewing those or wearing those and teacher saying they were distracting.When I purchased these I was very pleased that the length of the necklace is adjustable. This is so helpful. It was a little tricky to figure out how exactly to adjust them, but once I figured it out it worked perfectly.They do say that they have 3 different levels or something along those lines. I will just say, I'm not sure what that means really, but my son is using them all equally and doesn't prefer one over the other! They all have raised up textures on them which is great for sensory. For my son, the orange blue and green colors blend seamlessly into any outfit he wears. They also are more discreet and and he doesn't feel embarrassed wearing them at school. He wears them daily and I hand wash them daily. They are still in like new condition. Very durable and safe to chew without worrying that pieces will break off. I highly recommend this product, and would absolutely purchase again.

We received a different type of chewelry from an OT and it was a disaster. Way too fun to play with and therefore never used for its intended purpose. Plus, my son found it uncomfortable to wear and it was really obvious whenever we were out that it was not just a normal kid accessory. I went on Amazon to find a better solution and found these. They are perfect! They have held up really well to a couple weeks of aggressive chewing with no visible wear. They're very easy to clean and dry quickly. I love that they look like just a normal necklace so they don't stand out to much with his school uniform, plus he's obsessed with LEGO so he's excited to put them on. It's nice to have two in case I don't get around to washing one. It was really easy to shorten the cord for my little guy. And the bonus extra cord is great too, since sometimes the cord and clasp gets chewed on too and I could see them wearing out faster than the necklace itself. Also, I really appreciate when companies don't waste resources on lots of packaging/paper for something that's sold online. I was very happy with the simple package that was professional, reusable, and minimal. We can store the extra cord in its original package without having to make extra room in a drawer or cabinet and didn't have to go to any trouble labeling it. Highly recommend this product.

I love the variety of different bright colors, and the different shapes. Great for fidgeting with. Had them for a couple months none have broken. Easy to find if they get lost because they are so brightly colored. Also easy to wash.

I love the shape of these as well as the different textures they offer (each one has bumps, ridges, and smooth parts on them). They offer a very high resistance against chewing and are pretty hard -this is important because some children prefer softer items to chew. So if you are looking for a harder than typical version of an oral sensory chew for a child, this is a great choice.

My 4-year-old ASD kiddo was constantly chewing on his fingers and his Occupational Therapist suggested a chewie necklace. He LOVES Lego, so we thought we would give this a try. It is perfect! Not only can he chew on it, but the stubs on one side and the tiny dots on the back are great when he wants to fidget or just needs a little sensory input.Both the pendants and the strings are well made. I really appreciated the extra string, too! Even the best get damaged or worn out after awhile. Plus everything came in a really great reusable zipper pouch so I can toss one in my bag and always have a necklace with me, just in case. They shipped quickly and came even better than described. We are ordering another set and I highly recommend these!

My son is ADHD and recently started bitting his clothes. He destroyed a lot of t-shirts and I found this solution fair : he can bite on something, he thinks it’s cool and I don’t have to send him to school with destroyed T-shirts or buy some every week so : nice.

***UPDATE***After posting my 2 star review the company did reach out to me directly to know more about my review. As far as customer service goes, they deserve 5 stars; however, based on the needs of my "hard core chewer", I cannot give this ITEM 5 stars. If you need a chew toy for a teether and/or for someone that just needs a fidget and not necessarily for the pressure of a sensory seeker, these chewies will be great. The design of X and Y are great for holding onto and being able to switch out from three different textures on one chewie. The bright colors are eye popping and also help when finding the chewie when child just leaves it laying around anywhere.One lasted three hours. Had to cut off about two inches and then the rest was chewed down to the main trunk of the chewie. I find little tiny colored pieces of the chewie in my kid’s mouth and on his face or around the house. The shapes are great for holding and chewing or just staying out in the mouth without chewing. They definitely do their job of providing sensory input, but are too soft. We will use up the pack and decide what to then—purchase again or look elsewhere.

My son's an aggressive chewer. He loves them. Though he goes threw them pretty quickly! lol

My daughter can’t wear things around her neck so these were perfect for her to chew/stim without danger.
