Affordable office chair that's great quality and easy to assmeble
My old office chair has started to "bloom", so I know it's time for me to get a replacement chair. I have been putting off getting a new chair since good office chairs can be expensive. The one I had on the left cost me approximately $250 when I first got it from the local office store. This one is half of that cost and yet built so much better. At first, I was actually a bit skeptical about the price since my local office store was having an "anniversary chair event" in which they were selling chairs like this for $300+. I decided that I would get the one on Amazon since I could always return it if I didn't like it, and it looks so much more premium that no one would ever be able to tell...I never really like getting my hands dirty, hence another reason why I procrastinated in getting a new chair (hey, it still works!). I chose this particular chair because it was cheap, had a premium feel to it, mesh-based (versus leather which tends to crack), and claims to install in only 5 minutes. I really love the fact they had the major parts already assembled when I unpacked the packaging, and there were literally only 4 things you need to put together to fully assemble the chair (the casters, the "air rods", the rear bracket, and the headrest). While I wouldn't call it 5 minutes per se, I would say I was able to assemble the thing in about 10 minutes or so and without getting my hands dirty in black grease in the process.Comparing this with my old chair:1. The new chair has a mesh-based headrest whereas the old one does not.2. Both my old and the new chair had protrusions at the lower part for lumbar support, although this chair definitely is more pronounced and definitely something you can feel when you first lean against these. It may feel weird for the first few days if you never had a chair like this, although I am pretty used to this since I have a similar one at my office.3. Instead of being padded like the old one, the new chair uses a mesh backing to it. Although it looks as they are cheaping out on materials, I actually find this to be more comfortable since there is a bit of stretch to the mesh that better aligns with your back and allows it to breathe.4. Unlike the old chair that has various lined patterns across the padded seat, this one doesn't. This was actually one of the things that I wanted in my new chair since debris tends to get into those cracks and the seams tend to break as they age. Having no such lines also make the seat much easier to clean since it's a relatively smooth surface. The padded seat is also semi water-resistant such that if you did drip on the pad it generally is easier to clean than other padded chairs that "soak it up" immediately.5. The old one had padded armrests while the new one doesn't. To be honest, I actually like the non-padded ones since it's more smooth than the rough surface on the padded surface.6. My old chair makes a loud squeak while tilting back, this chair can tilt even further without making any loud squeaks.7. Unlike more expensive chairs that come with casters that look like rollerblades, this chair comes with your typical casters. This was actually a must for me because I do not wear shoes in the house. Having the rollerblade type casters /wheels can allow your feet to be clipped underneath the metal clip. This could cause bleeding or bruises under the skin and is definitely not pleasant. These typical casters have a cover to conceal the rolling mechanism itself so your feet do not get entrapped in the mechanism as you are rolling around. Rollerblade type wheels also exert a lot more pressure downward as you are sitting on the chair, so much that it is enough to crack "uncrackable" polycarbonate chair mats (especially when used on carpets). These casters have two contact points on each wheel to reduce that pressure to prevent that problem.Overall, this chair is comfortable and nicely made. It is definitely worth every penny of the purchase price I paid for it. In many ways, it is comparable to a manager's office chair that is in the $300-400 price range. If I experience any issues on this chair, I will come back and update this review. That being said, this is definitely a thumbs up for me.

Comfortable to Sit In
Great chair for the value. No real gripe with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality chair and don't want to shell out a few hundred for a really good one. The only gripe I have is that I can't lock the headrest in place, so when I lean my head back, it pushes it all the way down. This would not stop me from purchasing it again though.

I have even slept on this chair during acid reflux flairs and it is very comfortable. Price is excellent.

Comfortable Light-Weight Office Chair
After a week of usage I can say that it fits very good for my needs. I don't have lots of space in my small office and hence I wanted something with is not too heavy and not consuming not too much space, but is still very comfortable and has all the features of a large chair and it looks like I have found a good solution. The chair arrived in good condition and with the detailed instructions it was easy to put it together in about 15 minutes. OK, to be honest, there there was not much to do because most of it was already pre-assembled. There wer just very few screws to secure. Nice thing that not only the screws, but also all the tools came with the box.The seat has thick cushion at the bottom and supports nicely the back so I can sit the whole day without any pain and my back is very sensitive. Also head support works. It can be adjusted regarding the angle and is in the right position to give my head a nice rest when I need it.What I really like it that the chair can be bent to the back and secured there so I can relaxed watch some videos when I have the time and can still use the arm rests. The arm rests don't have a cushion, but the have some ergonomic shape bent to the front, so they are never in my way and I can use them, how I want. So overall really flexible, small chair with surprisingly lots of comfort.

Too small. Back support is too big and give me back pain
Too small for me ( sit size 20 *17 ( sit plastic frame make it 17*16 )) . Back support is too big - you can't adjust it - give me back pain. May be - Will be ok for smaller people. Im 6.1, 220 lb. I'm Return it.

The chair won't stay at my chosen height
I've had dozens of office chairs in my life but this one will NOT keep my chosen seat height. I watched the video provided...which is common sense because it's an office chair BUT my seat keeps creeping down and down and down until it's at the lowest it can go.My email to the company got bounced back so not sure where else to turn for help.I bought two of these chairs and they're not cheap. I can't feel like I'm sitting on the floor all day. This is extremely frustrating!!!!

Not bad
I can actually sit in this chair for 8 hours a day. Had it for about 4 months now. I upgraded the wheels to rollerblading and I didn’t install the arm rests.

Feels pretty solid. Poor instructions, but there's a video that more or less explains it.
It feels solid and comfy, although it unfortunately doesn't go high enough for my wrists to be in a comfortable position at my desk. I thought the armrests were adjustable, but they aren't (or I can't figure out how to do it), so I guess I'm just going to have to get seat and arm cushions to be at the proper height. I'm only 5'2", though, so this may not affect you. It would probably be super comfortable if I were at the correct height- it's not bad, as is.It was pretty easy to assemble. Search for "Dripex office chair assembly" on Youtube and you'll find a video that you can follow, for the most part, once you get the metal part screwed onto the seat/back piece. The wheels were a pain, but they always are. I tried using something else to bash them in, as I've had to do with chairs in the past, but that doesn't work with these. Just apply steady pressure with your hands until it gives. The other part that was a pain was getting the seat onto the base. It started to come apart, and the gas canister kept trying to come up while I was trying to wrangle the hole in the seat onto it. It is way too big of a piece to be wieldly.I was also missing a small piece, although it's not one that (seems to) affect the sturdiness or operation of the chair- it's the little part that you screw the wheel onto. I'll update this review if they get back to me about sending a replacement.

I like it
Arrived early this morning. Arrow XL's mapping could do with work as the delivery van was in the middle of no where on the tracking page. Easy to assemble although the instructions are not clear on how to find the middle of the backrest to mount the headrest so this took a little more time than expected to alighn the screw holes and inserts before I could screw up the headrest.Having had the cheaper Dripex model by another seller where any weight on the arm rests would render them to a lower position. This doesn't seem to be a problem with this model as it's quite natural to lean on the arm rests when getting up so the chair does not go scooting across the room.I have only had the chair a few hours but will update this review if anything breaks within the warranty period. So far the seller has been responsive.Comfortable and well constructed too. Found the most comfortable setting is about 105 degrees slope although sometimes if I need to be business like 90 degrees is a good setting.Update: One of the base screws fell out today. Took me ages to work out where it came from but also another screw was loose so re-inserted into base and tightened up. Just a heads up if you find a screw on the floor chances are it came from the base.

I think for this price the quality is amazing. Would defo recommend. Sturdy, good adjustment available, I’m a broad build but I still have plenty of room in this chair.

Great chair
Ive had it for two days, the chair is great.-I can lock the back at 90 degrees and it wont move backwards with the strong tension.-The arm rest reach my elbows well, very nice that they are adjustable, I was able to match the height of my table which to what I wanted to have good posture. They are little bit wobbly but honestly its not an issue/noticeable when you're typing.-The height is good, im 181cm and its got enough height to put my waist slightly above my knees-Setting it up took me a good hour, but the tools and instructions were good.-The headrest is optional, I took it off for now and looks great without the headrest for the home.-Chair feels rigid, im content. Its what I was looking for. Will update in a month or so.
