Brilliant toy, safe, well made, very fair price. Perfect size,good sound effects. It is on it's way to New Zealand to a great grandson, he will love it.

This is a good bus, involving imagination and pretend play. My daughter likes to play with it and enjoys putting the passengers in the seat and drive the bus. It’s a good product, value for money and the of good quality.

The media could not be loaded.  A part wood cement mixer truck. It has two characters to go in the driving cab. In the back is the mixer with corresponding holes for the plastic shapes. These can be difficult to get into the holes, I found them a bit stiff so a small child might have difficulty with them at first.Once the shapes are in the mixer there is a handle to rotate it. That bit was easy and would probably be a lot of fun for a child. The back of the mixer lifts up to get the pieces out.It has battery’s that give it flashing lights and music.It’s a great toy and well made. I could imagine it giving hours of fun to a 2-3 or 4 year old.

It was ordered for my 13 month old daughter she was love to play on fill sharps, it would makes her to sit down on the floor to spin and fill for a long time, it will helps for little to learn to focus and movement on the filling.

Not worth £15 let alone £30. I think this was daylight robbery. A con job. Disgusting how they can get away with treating Amazon long time customers by selling cheap toys and charge top dollar. Very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a good size very robust mixer truck great for little ones with the shape sorter mixer that turns round with a handle and if they press the buttons in the top of the cab it plays two or three different tunes .It has a small string attached to pull it along and the wheels are made of wood.A lovely Xmas present or birthday gift.

Duncurin has been contemplating this nice cement mixer lorry courtesy of Vine and Wanborns. It is pitched at 18m and is thus perfect for my grandson who is now 15m. It is visually appealing with nice orange and yellow plastics. There are also some graphics on the shaped blocks that come with it and also on the wheels. It is billed as being made of solid wood and this is rather disingenuous as although there are some wooden components, like the wheels, most of it is in fact plastic. There is also a wood-effect sticker on both sides but this really just covers the plastic body of the cement mixer. This being said, it is still visually appealing to the target age group but please don't think you are buying some hand made and finished wooden toy from a specialist workshop.The lorry comes with blocks and shapes and these can be sorted through the circumference of the rotating mixer. There is then an end cap which can be hinged upwards to allow the shapes to be reclaimed. A handle will turn the cement mixer part and depending on your point of view will then create a nice clattering noise as the shapes are shunted round.Two figures partly constructed in wood are also included and form the driver and site manager man for more effect.There are also three sound effects; a weird start up noise, horn beeping and a skip to the loo music - all accompanied by flashing lights on top of the cab.Finally there is a pull cord so that the child can pull the whole thing along.One or two negatives, sorry to say. The shapes are really tight and really need to be pushed with some force; too much force for an 18m to muster. It may well settle with more use but will be frustrating in the meantime as the projecting shapes will stop the mixer from turning.The pull cord is way too short even from a child closer to the action - it needs to be 2-3x this length.The Made of solid wood needs to go and maybe “contains wooden parts” would be more accurate.The turn handle works okay as does the rear flap but a proper hinge allowing the mixer to elevate and tip the contents would be a better solution for minimal changes to the product.Otherwise, have fun. My kindergarten students have been playing with this cement mixer toy for the past month and it is a hit in my class! Every day the children enjoy pretend play, driving and other activities with this toy. The mixer that has shape cutouts with matching shape blocks is also a bonus, as they can practice shape recognition and matching skills as well!So far this toy is holding up very well to regular use by 3-5 year old children who sometimes are not the most gentle with it. The back has been opened and closed many times and still functions perfectly.The only complaint is not about the truck itself, but the little people who come with it. They are cute, but their heads easily fall off. I wish they were glued on strongly rather than just being a peg and hole. This was fixed with hot glue easily so no stars off.Overall a nice quality toy that I’m sure will continue to get tons of use in my class. Highly recommended.

I wish EVERY CHILD could own one of these!!This little toy is not only Stunning with beautiful colors and extremely well made & an amazing value for your money, but... it also will help you child learn about Recycling ! which , let's face it.. will be HUGE Part of every Childs life !. This Toy has it all !here is something i have to point out that is just Beautiful... there are NO " GENDER specific ROLES" here in this toy! isn't that amazing?! the two little People are just .. " little people " and that is So so very important because He/She or THEY can all Play and be part of learning ! I LOVE that about this toy! and i will be getting more of the same toy so i can give to children just because of those reasons and the Value of learning about a GREEN WAY OF LIFE !the little truck has a little crank that a child can turn and they get to see what its like to recycle first hand! so cute! And it has a string so they can pull it along, plus press the top and it lights up with flashing lights and makes engine sounds!. My other-half works in a daycare, so I figured I'd check out some of the children's toys. She brings a few in per day, and gauges how the children react to them, play with them, and their general enjoyment and engagement!So, it seems there are 5 trucks in this series (or that seller has), including "Car Carrier", "Fire Truck", "Garbage Truck", "Cement Mixer" and "School Bus". I have to say that all are well made, very solid, and will last. Solid wood and strong plastic, easy to wipe down/clean, bright colors and kids love them!Now, lets get down to how this item did . . . School BusThis had to be, without a doubt, the children's favorite!Pros:When presented with several options, this gets chosen first. Maybe it's the extra little "people" in it, or maybe the familiarity with school and busses. Either way, they love it!The door works smoothly, as does the "Stop" sign, and "people" all fit in their seats.Very solidly built, with solid wood, and hard plastic pieces. Quite rugged and will take a "beating". The colors of the plastic, and of the paint on the wood, is vibrant and bright, and doesn't seem to come off easily (paint)."Driver" and "Worker" in each truck (of series - each has 2) are a different color (for each truck), and the two have different style helmets. Pretty sure the "people" are the standard size for most toys like this, that have been around since at least the 70's (and always loved). This one also comes with 3 "passengers", which the kids love!Thankfully, the lights/sounds made, when pressing the button on top, are neither excessively long, nor too irritating, and plays 3 sounds (song/horn/engine). It came with working batteries and a pull-tab so they would not be dead-on-arrival. Regardless, kids seem to ignore the sounds, most of the time, and would happily play with this with no batteries.Cons:Happily, can't say I found any!Other than it should not state "Solid Wood", as I'd say it's easily half plastic!
