Decent piece of kit
Good build quality, nice and chunky,easy enough to attach to cabling. I have used a couple of times since i got them no problems at all.

Did what I wanted them for
Not sure I would say these are heavy duty but well made and did the job of connecting a 25A 48V charger to my home battery. Definately not to be used to make jump leads for a car though.

spring forces the handles to separate if not careful
the spring does not work well with the way the handles are attached to each other through a simple bump and hole as the handles tended to separate into two pieces with a ping if not carefulhowever if careful they do work and are big enough for battery poststhe spring at least remains with the handle

A Good Grip
Well made Crocodile clamps. The springs are quite strong and are not all that easy to open. The clamps are well made with rubber sleeves covering the end part of the two side grips.On the inside of the two u-shaped grip handles are the springs. On one u-shaped handle is a brass strip. One of the small brass connectors will be connected on top of this strip. The brown (positive) and blue (negative) wire will then have to be connected to one of these small connecting plates.It is better to have the nut side of connecting pin in the u-shape of the handle grip and the screw head on the outside. Because of the u-shape of the handle grip it is very awkward to get the stripped back brass wire anchored down under the nut. Best to have quite a long brass wire loop making it easier to pass over the neck of the screw thread. We thought that a correct sized washer may make it easier to anchor down the brass wire under the nut. Once it is all connected then it is not too difficult to slide the rubber sleeve back up the grip handle

They’re no way 100amp
No way are 100amp, and they’re so small. They are well made mind. They do the job as intended which was to replace a broken croc on my booster pack
