When running, does the device have a good hold on to your hip? Basically what i'm asking is, is the clip strong?

The clip is made from pretty cheap plastic that breaks easily. We dropped the thing once and it snapped. The spring inside is also really small so it could very easily come out of the little hole that it is seated inside of. If you want something rugged with a strong clip, expect to pay more for it. This is a cheap, janky device.

Can you turn the auto shut off off? I was looking to get one for work and I stop and go pretty frequently. Thank you
