Only just received this bought for a Christmas gift. Its not too big but it gives a great light from it. I'm sure the recipient will be delighted with it

Tried USB and the whole thing flashed and that was it. Tried batteries and nothing happened. Left it on my knee while I checked instruction and then felt burning on my leg. Batteries were too hot to touch really but had to and the resistor in the battery pack was so hot it was melting through the plastic. Sore knee, sore fingers. Not ideal. Sending it back and not buying the same again just incase. Obviously a little dangerous when there is a failure on the circuit. Glad I didn't leave it unattended.

Great light looks lovely

As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon. This DWOOKE Beer Neon Bar Wall Light arrived in a cardboard box; also inside the box are 2 Self Adhesive Hooks and a Welcome Card but no User Manual as it’s not needed.. I ordered this for my wife as I have noticed when we’re out she tends to point to neon lights that she likes, so this was a nice surprise for her. When it arrived and I removed it from the box, I looked for the instructions, but there weren’t any, the reason for this is you just plug it into any old phone charger, laptop, power bank or an extension lead with USB-A ports as you can see I did in my unboxing video, or alternatively you can use 3 AA batteries which you just place in the battery compartment. When night time came I took a photo of it sitting on my drinks cabinet, and we both thought it looked great, sometime this week it will be going on the wall, and that will be quite easy as it has two hanging brackets. I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it. At the time of writing this review the price is £18.99, but at the moment there is a 5% discount voucher bringing the price down to £18.04, which I personally think is a very reasonable price. The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing are there so you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph or video, the small are 1cm square and the larger ones are 5cm. This comes in a really basic box that has a pretty mandala design on the front. You can't immediately tell what is inside so there is a bit of a fun element to this as a gift. The reverse of the box does show an outline of the various designs available with a little check mark against the one that is inside (yes, I forgot to get an image of it). The set comes with two self-adhesive wall hooks that are really heavy duty. The hooks themselves are metal and the backing is a large square. They adhere well to the wall and need to be pushed very firmly onto the surface - I did slightly get one in the wrong place but because I hadn't pressed it down it peeled right back up without destroying the surface and allowed me to resite it with no problems. For the BAR sign they do need to be staggered slightly for the sign to hang straight. As this is lit by LEDs I wasn't expecting it to be so bright. It really is a good, safe version of the neon tubes we all loved back in the 1980s and into the 1990s. I've powered mine off a power bank as I was out of AA batteries but as the cable from the light is a really good length this isn't an issue at all. The cable itself is a "clear" type so relatively unobtrusive, especially when the sign is lit. From the base of the sign to the battery compartment/USB spur is a little over 70". Fun, funky and best of all it makes me smile!

This LED neon-style sign comes boxed with instructions and two adhesive-backed hooks for mounting. Though it's quite thick for its size, the sign doesn't really stand up on its own so if it isn't hung from anything it needs to be leaned up against something. Build quality seems pretty good, the sign is soft PVC with a harder frame. There are two mounting holes built into the frame. The power cord is reasonably long, with both a battery compartment (it takes three AA batteries) and USB-A connector at the end, so you can choose how to power it. The on/off switch is on the battery compartment. I love the way the sign looks when it is lit up, apart from the R, which doesn't light up at the very bottom - it's quite noticeable, I guess a LED isn't working. If it wasn't for that, I'd give this light four stars as it doesn't get hot and has a classic neon look.
