New LookPattern 6493 Misses' Jumpsuit and Dress in Two Lengths with Bralette, Paper, White, 22.06 x 15.06 x 1.06 cm

I love sewing but cannot remember last time I used a pattern. I'm a UK 12 and followed pattern for size 8 which was suggested for my measurements. As you can see it's a little snugg. Pattern was easy enough but I was confused at times with wording. Like I said not followed pattern in soo long so was just me over thinking I guess. Great pattern with many variations. Will be using again. Finish is great

It’s been a few years since I did any sewing and it’s fair to say I made a few rookie errors, but this pattern was realitively simple to follow, although I did need to read some of the instructions a few times to understand what was meant. That said, I have produced a pair of culottes that can be worn. A word of warning though, be mindful of the sizing. I am a size 12 uk and cut a 6 as I used their finished measurements. It’s fits great, but in hindsight I would have preferred a little more room in the bottom half to allow more stretch.

I haven’t done sewing for quite a few years and being self taught I wondered whether I’d get confused with a pattern but fear not this pattern is well written and easy to follow and I now have a cool jumpsuit!Tip: do french seams so it looks all tidy- wish I’d done that!

The fit of this pattern is terrible the top comes up massive. You need to adjust or overlap by several inches more or it would fit two people in.
