Borax, 1.5 lb, Unscented, Cleaning & Laundry

For making ant bait it's actually quite simple: 10 parts boiling water. 10 parts sugar. 1-2 parts borax. Proportion to however much you need. Mix then put into tiny bottle caps or something the ants can easily reach. You can also skip the water and just grind the sugar and borax together with a rock. Ants that drink it won't die immediately, it takes about 2 days for the borax to take effect. The ants that find it will take it back to the colony to share, and will probably bring a ton more ants over to feast on the syrup. By the time the first ants start dying around day 2, it should have been shared with almost the entire colony, wiping them all out by day 3 or 4. If they aren't taking the bait, you might need to lower the borax content, or if they aren't dying, you'll need to increase it. If your syrup dries out, you can still use it. Dump it out into a flower pot and crush it into powder with a rock, then set it out again. This actually works even better than the powder method because the borax has been completely blended together with the sugar. You can try all three methods to raise likelihood of the ants taking the bait. Great for use in home to eliminate ant infestations if you don't want to use actual toxic pesticides. Borax is of course dangerous if you put a spoonful of it in your latte, but if you handle it carefully as you would bleach or any other cleaning chemical then there's nothing to worry about.

I use this regularly in my dishwasher to prevent that metallic smell from developing. I just toss a scoop in the drain after I open the door when it's finished washing. Also use it in my laundry when I launder sheets and towels. It makes them smell clean and fresh.

vanished the mold smell from my quick dry towel (I use it at the pool & it had gathered a really bad smell that wouldnt leave, so every time I would wash it and hang it to dry it would smell awful). that thing killed the mold! now it doesnt smell bad at all & I saved the towel as well!

I use this product on my carpets and in my trash cans—it smells great and does a great job deodorizing and cleaning! It also works wonderfully as a laundry booster, and I even use it to make homemade bug spray. Super versatile and effective! I wish the bag was larger.

This makes the laundry smell so good. It especially helps with pet and biological odors. It works well and is a good value.

I loved the smell, but you can get a lot more for your money elsewhere. It's basically just borax with scent.
