This is the single most important baseball purchase you can make. My son, 8, was hitting off of my launch angle tee for the longest, the problem with that is the tip would come off. I purchased another tee (the one that stands on a tripod) but this one was constantly getting knocked over even if you barely touched the tee.Getting backspin on the baseball is important. Therefore, you want to hit the bottom half of the baseball (or atleast cut it in half). This tee allows you to hit the bottom half of the ball, scrape the tee and the tee will not move a muscle because it is weighted.Every so often, you have to twist the stem of the tee to the right in order to tighten it back down (I've never had it fully unloosen during a session and the tee has about 2,500 swings on it.2,500 swings... no issues. May buy another one after this season. Would strongly recommend the purchase.

Great product. Cheaper version of the expensive brand, without sacrificing quality. Used for kids baseball practice to practice form while batting. Easy to put together and transport. Heavy enough to seem durable.

The media could not be loaded. Very sturdy. It's never once been knocked over or had the top part of the tee fly off. Those who know, know. It's just as good as any name brand tee and half the price (at least when I bought it).The only problem that I had was screwing the tee into the base. This was fixed by cleaning up the part of the tee that screwes into the base with a wire brush.**This is why it did not get 5 stars.**

Best tee we have ever owned for a good price

Had for a year, its pretty bad. It moves up and down just fine but the issues far outweigh it. I went for it thinking that it looks like a good alternative to some more expensive options. However, its not worth it. The metal screw is rusting out already (keep it indoors or in the garage), the plastic top is cracked from just drying out, the is squeaky, the screw in is just bad and grinds.Not a good too. Spend more and get something better.

I bought this for my grandkids. The base is heavy and the ball cup is rubber, well made.
