This is a light duty clamp but very versatile if you use yur noggin. Not enough push/pull power for my application but would be good for thin material. Other than that can’t complain

These are really good ratcheting clamps. I got a Festool track saw and these work great for clamping the track down. They also fit nicely in my table that has some T-track built in. They really come in handy for tasks that take two hands and you need a third for holding your project. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you decide to pick these up. I couldn't justify the price for the Festool ones, but for the price of these they are a great choice.

When I received this clamp, it looked very different to me, so I had to play with it for awhile to get used to how it works. I have several clamps, but I haven’t even seen one like this before. It took some getting used to and I still am having a hard time clamping vertically. The clamp seems to want to slide down the guide rail or the top clamp allowed the guide rail to slide through loosening the hold. I looked at the promo page examples but still had some difficulty securing it to my little table. It’s probably operator error, I don’t know, but it’s not that easy to clamp this in the horizontal position. In my photo it's connected to the table but very loosely. I couldn't get it to securely tighten. There are no directions or videos to show how to do this. Perhaps more experienced people will already know how, but not me. When I tried to horizontally clamp it to the side of my desk, it worked great. I slid both clamps up to their side of the post and started ratcheting on one side and it tightened right up. It worked perfectly. The clamp is a very heavy duty tool that can clamp up to 705 lbs. The guide rail is heavy and thick and doesn’t seem that it will flex at all. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. If I figure this out, it will become a valuable tool for me. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it's more lack of knowledge on my part for why I can’t work it vertically. I'll keep working it and if I figure it out, I'll update my review.

All metal construction. Feels really solid. Since they’re half the price of Festool I got two pairs.
