My daughter went straight under water with the first try and every try. This could be a protective suit for a child who already knows how to swim and needs some support, but not to be used with a child who doesn't know how to, or is learning to swim. Not to be left unattended. Besides that, the color does not look like in the picture. It is much lighter, it looks faded, as if it was used and in the sun for seasons. It also came with visible yellowish stains - someone else mentioned that in their review. It does not look like a $60 suit.
