Perfect for hammering in tent / awning pegs into firm ground, the large head provides a lot of surface area and due to the slight unbalancing of the hammer helps knocking it in. The claw hook also proves very useful pulling the pegs back out at the end of your trip.

This hammer is pretty good and drove in the pegs in hard ground on our pitch, so is heavy enough for that. I removed the strap as it irritatingly got in the way.

Feels sturdy should do the job of putting awning pegs in hard ground no problem

Looks well made for the price, but the lanyard was missing, still usable though as I can hang it up by the hole. Got the orange one so easier to see in the dark.

Good weight and no worries about the head coming off as with rubber mallets.

Heavy hammer with helpful hook for pulling pegs out. Clip with strap looks a bit weak but the rest is solid & strong but as I said heavy. The handle has a rubber coating with finger grip so you wont be dropping it, I don't know about in the rain though.

Great for pegging down and ok for lifting pegs up again.
