This Velpeau compression wrap is an important sub-component of the Velpeau thumb brace. I have bought several of these as they tend to get sweaty and dirty. I wear one with the thumb brace all day and with it, I hardly even notice the thumb brace is there. They make wearing the brace much more comfortable. You will receive one with the brace. The main reason I purchased the brace and wrap was so I could continue exercising with arthritis. These wraps will absorb sweat and other moisture. It's important to keep them clean. So, you will want more than one pair. They are very comfortable, and I sometimes forget I have them on.

I have what I assume is arthritis pain occasionally in my thumbs. I wrap them to limit movement and it helps. I purchased these for ease of use and not having to wrap. I have not had to use them yet. I did try them on and the large size I purchased fit my large lady hands pretty well. Won't know how well until I get painful. I hope they work.

I do not recommend this product! I was shocked that it has no support whatsoever! Its very uncomfortable as I was constantly keeping it pulled onto the base of my hand around the thumb ball! It continuously slips off the bottom part of my hand! of my hand. I've had other support sleeves or moderate braces and this one offers me nothing at all! I am definitely returning it and looking for another one!

I like how it doesn’t scream “I’m wearing a brace” but I might have gotten a size too big.But if I’d gone smaller, I think it would have rolled up my palm because it was so small.

This product has stretched out over time. I never felt that it was sturdy enough to wear without another race over it. I had hoped that possibly it would give me some compression that I wasn’t getting for the other place but I don’t think it ever did. It’s not very bulky, it is incredibly thin which is why I think it has stretched overtime. I do not feel that it ever supplied much support and therefore was not good at relieving my pain. It does fit well and near to the skin but I really don’t feel that it was good for compression.
