SMELLS TERRIBLE
Smelled absolutely disgusting and rancid, like something rotten. I don’t know what happened but this is gross… doesn’t smell like ginger AT ALL.

Another scent in addition to the ginger
I have a ginger inhaler that I use when travelling as I tend to get motion sick at times. I also have ginger EO that I diffuse when cruising to help with a nausea feeling. I'm really mixed on this bottle of "Ginger essential oil" because it does not smell as robust (warm & spicy) as I would have expected this to smell. I feel like there is a secondary fragrance mixed with it although the box and bottle don't mention any. However, I did diffuse a small amount and when doing so, the "strange" smell straight from the bottle was negligible. Perhaps this is too strong an EO to smell right from the bottle. If I "whiff" my hand across the open top, I do smell more of the ginger smell and not the "off" smell. So, I am really mixed. Initially, I wanted to give this product a 1 or 2 star, but because of my latter two points, I'm giving it a 3 star (my hand/fingers smell "off" just from handling the product). The price is about right for the bottle size; but if you aren't used to ginger, perhaps starting with a smaller bottle would be better as this isn't really a scent for most people nor is it like my other Ginger EO products.
