This is an okay charger for old school playstation 3 accessories. The first thing I will say about this is that it does not come with a wall charger so you can either plug that in separately or just use the PS3 USB port. It can be plugged directly into your PS3 to act as a charger however I would suggest if possible to plug this into wall outlet instead. One it does provide you a better charging than the USB ports on the your playstation 3 and two it can charge while your PS3 is off as the PS3 cuts charging off when you turn it off. When placing the controller onto the dock, it is easy to get it to line up. The controller simply is just placed upside down right on the charging port. it will automatically detect and start charging. There really is no latch but the controller lays securely into the dock via USB B charging port. Once connect, the controller pretty much instantly connects and starts charging. There are red light indicators to show that the port is charging and the green shows the controller is fully charged or open. The design color is just a simple black and the design is very very simple. It is very light which also makes it a bit of a con. The move controller has plenty of room but it does fall over which is a bit annoying. It grips to the bottom to keep it from sliding but the light weight tends to have it fall over. You can charge up to two controllers at a time. It comes with a single USB cable and the cord is not super long but my wall outlet is close enough so I can run this one to the wall outlet. Your controller cannot be used while it is being charged on this dock because you would have to hold the dock with the controller which is annoying. To fully charge the ps3 battery takes several hours on this dock depending on your medium but do not expect it to be super fast as this is older technology. The front panel also have battery light indicators to show charge. When the pad is green the device is fully charged. Overall this is an okay product. It provides you with a better way for charging your ps3 controller when you are not using it. You no longer have to worry about the cable clutter and it is a simple press down on the controller onto this dock to start charging. The only problem I have with it is that it falls over a bit too easily when charging the PS3 move controller.

when I plugged it into port 1 and 2 of the Ps3 it did not work. Just blinking red & green lights with no charge. I tried two different types of cords; still no charge. I plugged it into my laptop & it charged. The lights were steady, Red for charging & Green for full of charge. Same with the wall outlet.

TOTAL JUNK!!!! The plugs don’t even reach the port on the controller, they don’t plug in at all. This has got to be some kind of joke.

Charger works with OEM controllers only. Third party controllers do not fit.

Works great. I broke out the old PS3 to catch up on playing those old games and needed something to charge my controllers. For the price you can’t beat this charger. I definitely recommend it.

Um die Rechtschreibfehler auf der Verpackungsrückseite des China-Produkts zu ignorieren, kam es direkt mit einem Kabelwackler an. Grund ist, das die Isolierung des Ladekabels schon bei als ich die Ware öffnete, ein Manko hatte. Somit Knickt das Kabel ab und manchmal lädt es und manchmal nicht. Schlechte Verarbeitung für den Preis. Mit einem neuen Kabel Lädt es immerhin.

If it actually worked! I bought 2 of these cheapy china chargers from different sellers. Both of them didnt work, with the exact same problem. If plugged into a usb wall charger neither slot would charge the ps3 controller. The light would just stay green. If plugged into one of the ps3 usb ports then it was slightly better.. The front slot on the charger would charge the controller.. however the back one would not. So overall would be amazing it it worked. But it doesnt.

If you have bad batteries like I did in my controllers the light will go from red to green in a matter of seconds. then you have to buy new batteries and then it should only take 30 -40 minutes to fully charge. It lights up red when charging and green when it has charged your controller or controllers fully. it is easy to use and is worth the cost. like other customers said you need to use a phone or an iPod plug in for the Usb end in order to plug it into the wall to start charging your controllers without any issues.
