Hydrofarm Raptor RP8AC Air Cooled Reflector, 8 Inch

One big fiture. Grate for 4'x4' tent! Wish it was 98% reflective but 95% works. Thinner compared to 98% reflective compitition and very effeciant. It's what profesional growers in NM use.

This thing is way too big. Dont be an idiot like me and think bigger is better. This thing sits un-used in its brand new box.I grow vertically now with no hood what so ever. best descision i ever made.

Big and bad. The actual hinge door measures approx. 30-1/2 x 39-1/2 inches, just for the record.These are the new version with the hinged lens with tension latches and limit cable... a "gabillion" % improvement over the old version with just screws.Fit and finish is nice, all mine look great, have clean seams, are square and generally appear like quality units. Cords are long and solid.My only real complaint is the duct ports/connectors; they are a bit short and don't have a keeper bead. This is an area they lose points on compared to the Magnum XXL 8's, as they are longer and have a bead. When you're using standard flex it's not the end of the world, but when you use full insulated flex, like me, you really miss that longer connector and bead.Light output appears good and air flow seem ok as well, with no noticeable leaks at the lenses or seams.All in all, I like 'em and I'm proud to show 'em off.
