The tough task of safe food preparation is simple with Alegacy's Color-code System that takes the risk out of cross-contamination. The Alegacy Cutting Boards are color-coded by food group: green is for fruits and vegetables; yellow is for raw poultry; blue is for cooked foods; white is for dairy products; tan is for raw fish; and red is for raw meats. The Polyethylene Cutting Boards are non-absorbent and will not harbor food-borne bacteria. The non-skid surface will not dull knives, chip, crack, peel or warp. The medium-density polyethylene is dishwasher safe and contamination can be further reduced by using the Alegacy matching color coded knives & cleaning brushes.
