Ok, so it arrived weeks before it was supposed to! Can't beat that! It really does take 2 people to muscle it, but it's as pretty as I had anticipated!! I gave it 4 stars because the description does indicate touch screen controls, but as another reviewer said, they're VERY well hidden if they are there. If it's not there, don't say it is. Would recommend this for purchase!

I purchased the unit August 2015, on January 13, 2016 the heating system stopped working. I contacted the seller and the manufacturer and as of this date the issue has not been resolved. The seller customer service was adequate, but the manufacture customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Although the unit is very beautiful, I am not please with the manufacturer unwillingness to repair and/or replace the unit.

The fireplace is absolutely beautiful. I prefer the fire glass crystals over the fake log design. The heat that blows out of the unit feels pretty strong, but won't really be able to tell the efficacy until winter, but this was primarily an aesthetic purchase. I love the variations of the colors, and both the blue and the orange flames look great. The mixed one looks good too, I usually use a mix of max red and +2 blue.I ordered some blue fire glass (shards) that were designed for outdoor fire pits. I placed these as a bed on the bottom and carefully stacked the included clear crystals on top (2 layers, one on top of another). It takes a lot of care and caution, but it gives a great effect. The blue takes on a great glow when you have the blue flame on at any level (even mixed with orange). When you have just orange, the blue is just dark with no color bleed and the clear crystals do all the work. So the customization doesn't ruin either color, but it really enhances the blue and the mixed settings. I like it, but it took quite a while to carefully lay it out so the glass bits didn't roll out when I tried to put the front glass back on.I prefer the look of the electronic fireplace LED over even a real flame. It just fits the modern decor a bit better. If you have a cabin in the woods you might prefer actual flame, but in a more modern living space an actual fireplace (even gas, but especially wood) seems more anachronistic to me. More so now that I have this product mounted on the wall.

Very disappointing. The last week I've heard this horrible humming sound coming from the fireplace. Last night I decided I would investigate further, and after researching some how-tos online, figured it was probably the faux flame motor. Furthermore I deduced the motor was probably made in China. Tonight I took out the motor and looked at the company and sure enough...Made in China. I barely run this thing and have had it for a little more than 3 months, and yet it is already showing wear and tear. At first I loved it. But after a short period of time it is broken and because Chinese made goods are terrible. They do not care about quality only production quantity.

We bought this for our new library and wanted a fireplace that we could re-purpose when we move in a few years. This puts out good heat for a small room and is very pretty. The light color adjustments are fun, from all blue flame to all orange or in between. You'll want to hang it at or slightly above eye level, as you don't want to look down into the row of LEDs. It looks the most real right around eye level. The heat vents on this one are in the front (facing toward you vs on top) and this is excellent as the heat moves toward you instead of up the wall. It would make it easier to mount a TV above it too. Very pretty by itself. Hope it lasts for many years. We just got it and will see how it holds up.

We just LOVE this fireplace! It arrived on time in perfect shape and was a breeze to install and looks great.The hardest part was getting the old fireplace extracted. Once that was done, we reframed for a recessed install and put up new drywall and paint. It was in less than 20 minutes after that.My husband admitted he was skeptical when I said I'd ordered an electric fireplace, but he is really, really pleased.Now we have great ambiance all year long. My friends and neighbors are very jealous.

This fireplace is all that! It adds elegant character to my living room! It puts out about the same amount of warmth as a Space heater! I'm currently in the process of installing it in my living room recessed in a wall under my television and so far I'm liking the results. Here are a couple photos of work in progress I'll be sure to include a finished photograph once I'm done!

It is beautiful but when the flames are lit it makes an annoying noise!!
