So I tried several brands paddletails with no results. I decided to try yours. First cast caught 2 nice redfish at the same time on a double rigged line , used the pearl with a red fin and the pearl with a green tail. These lures are a steal at this price. Well made! Does not swim perfectly straight but straight enough. I boiled them in salt water to straighten the tails and get rid of some of that chem. smell.

Although they look nice and swim properly in the water, the very strong smell of cheap plastic and and fresh paint is likely a fish deterant not an attractor. To the manufacturer I suggest molding in the color/pattern with a quality low odor material like the USA manufacturers do instead of what you did.

Edit 2: Fished these and have been unable to produce a fish, the hooks are also very brittle. Only worth for it for quantity but my megabass has caught me a few bass and have repaired it with super glue and it is still going strong so make your own judgement these have little action in the water my honest assessment is the megabass though more pricey is better however if you are the type to lose lures often give these a try.Edit: Will try these soon and update reviewFirst impressions: Comparing to Megabass these are incomparable because of the quality, I attached photos of some of the examples. Upon reception I noticed the eyes falling off from the weak adhesive used on them so I removed all of them and super glued them however I do this on the Megabass authentic for longevity. The finish on them are poor as some more than others shed it at the brush of a finger tip and the odor is horrendous and somewhat headache inducing. The plastic is stiffer and slightly impedes action. The shipping method is also bad ass the bag within the bag causes a permanent bend in the tail and can be remedied by submerging in boiling water however at the expense of the finish as it will weaken it. Overall 2* solely because of the price point in comparison to Megabass.

I got these lures and all the tails was bent up. I looked online and it said that you could put them in boiling water and then put them in cold water and they would return to shape and they did. First time tying up one on my ultralight with 4 lb test I caught a 6 lb bass.
