These are great! They are pretty cheap, but they work well and make trimming my cats' claws mindlessly simple and quick. It only takes me about a minute per cat to trim their front claws and the size of the hole means that there's no risk of cutting too much/deep: just slide the claw into the hole and cut. The hole is kind of cone-shaped, so it self-centers and makes it easy to slide in. I have two adult American shorthair cats and their claws fit perfectly into the hole and the scissors cut them to the right length. I had a much more expensive pair of guillotine-style clippers and they were so fiddly and hard to use when my cats were squirming all over. These scissors are much better!

Love this! I’d never trimmed cat nails before and this is so easy to use with no worries of hurting my kitty. He doesn’t believe it though, and will only let me do a couple nails at a time 🤣

I like the idea and the handle is certainly comfortable. But the hole is very small. Probably great for kittens but for my adult cat the old thick toenails (worn down some) won't fit through the hole. Only the new thin sharp nails fit it. The cat seems to mind it less than the old style that uses the half hole on either side, then cut the nail.

This made it so easy to cut down my kittens nails. She didn’t fuss or fight - I distracted her with a Churro Treat and was able to cut all of her nails at the same time. The holes make it impossible to go too far - which means no pain for my fur baby. This is a MUST HAVE. Buy with confidence- highly recommend!

I ordered the orange pair for clipping my cat's nails. They did not work at all on the cat I purchased the clippers for as her nails are too large/thick and they don't work with these clippers. They work for my other cat though because he has sharper claws that are able to fit through the small hole. 3 stars because they didn't work for my intended purchase, although some may find them useful.

This was my first cat nail clippers. What a great investment. The design is well planned. Fits perfect, does not slip out of my hand and I love how you can’t cut too far. It is not thick, making for ease of use. Works great.

These clippers make trimming my very small bodied cat very simple. I love the fact that the hole is small enough that it makes it nearly impossible (not completely, but nearly impossible) to clip into the quick. You'd really have to not know where the quick was to clip into it with these. As long as you use good lighting and know where the quick is, you won't have to worry about nicking into it with these clippers. They're very durable and sturdy also. Comfortable in your hand and even work if you have a jumpy cat. Just be careful when using because it is difficult to get them back FROM around the nail unless you clip. If your cat is jumpy, I suggest grabbing her/him by the scruff if possible in order to trim their nails. ♡ (some people do this with their mouth, but I'm sure you can figure out a better way. The clippers are so simple to use!)

Work very well and quick. No worry of snipping too much. Pain free for cat . Glad I ordered this.

Advertised for cats AND dogs, but the holes (while great in theory) are ridiculously small. My 3 lb chihuahua’s nails didn’t even fit.
