Does not transfer torque to head of screw
Out of the "box" it appears to be well made but mine broke today. One day beyond the return window. Used it about 4 times and each time the shaft would slip more and more until the 1/4" tip broke off today. I'm a gas fireplace repair technician and I'm constantly working in tight spaces. Having a tool break on you so soon after purchase and on a tough job is frustrating. I've bought similar products only to leave them on a job or have them stolen but those items always worked. Should have bought the same manufacturer. UGH!!

Good flex, good bit holding detent, good quality grip
Like the flexibility and the slip sheath over the wound spring flex shaft allows good grip, the magnetic bit holder works great as does the spring detent quick release. Tool has good balance in hand and good feel of dexterity in the hand grip. I only hope ARES makes this driver with directional ratcheting function in the future.

Poor Tool And Poor Manufacturer’s Response .
I liked the tool but it broke after I used it a few times . Got in touch with the manufacturer and I’m still waiting for an answer . This was about 3 months ago .

Great idea loses itself to poor quality.
Very weak product. I work on gas furnaces so having one of these is a god send to get hard to reach screws. The screws we deal with a 1/4-5/16 inch heads and no more than half an inch long. They are not under any torque yet this bit driver broke within the first few weeks.Don't waste your time. Do what i should have done and spend the extra money one something more sturdy.

Love it
Being that i have a motorcycle and a small sports car, some things are hard to get to when installing new parts or fixing old things - This thing works like a dream, i cant say how many hours have been saved because i had this thing

Highly flexible, at the expense of torque
This is a highly flexible screwdriver, though the last 2cm are effectively rigid due to the attachment housing. Bits are held securely and there is no worry of them dropping off. A fault that does exist is that the flexible nature of the stem makes it difficult to apply maximum torque to the fastener.

Better than I thought
I bought this to put in some hard to get at screws when I was replacing my dash cap. At first I didnt' think it was flexible enough to get in some places. I was wrong it worked great. The only thing it it's not magnetic, which would help installing screws in hard to get at placates. But still happy I bought it

quality tool, very useful in tight spots, great for swislog equipment repairs
Well made, shaft is flexible enough for tight spots but still transfers plenty of torque. I bought one to try out on swisslog pneumatic tube system repair, found it very effective and ordered several more for the repair crew (along with 11/32 sockets). Big time saver!
