Judes choice
I thought I would give it a try. A dye from plant extract. I am so glad I tested it before I put it on my face. Reading the directions to test a small dab on my earlobe and wait 48 hours and I am so glad I did. I had a bad reaction with burning, itching and scabs on my earlobe and skin surrounding it. If you have sensitive skin, I would defiantly stay away from this product. Thumbs down.

It actually works.
I ordered this on a whim, not being sure I really wanted to color my beard, which is a "petit goatee". My beard has become much whiter than my head hair in the last couple of years, and my family, friends, and co-workers have commented on going grey a lot. I always thought I'd never color my hair, and have suspected hair dyes of being dangerous, knowing how our skin absorbs everything so easily.I ordered this beard dye shampoo because the ingredients list was not alarming. My head hair is dark brown with some grey throughout, but darkens with gel or hair putty, which I use a little of most days. I ordered the black color of this KILOMETS brand product. I wasn't sure if that was a mistake - if I should have ordered the brown color. But the end results after one 5-minute application put me at ease. It wasn't so dark that it looked unnatural, but it's close enough to my head hair that nobody realizes that they're not perfectly matched in color. Afterall, nobody looks as closely at you as you do in the mirror! When pumping the product out of the container, it comes out in two streams: clear gel, and a hazel-brown colored gel. This confused me at first because it's supposed to be black hair coloring. With both of the included plastic gloves on, I used one finger to mix the gel together in the palm of one hand. Then I massaged it into my grey/white goatee for exactly 5 minutes. It didn't smell bad like the toxic stuff my sisters used when I was growing up. It suds'd up in my beard while I wondered if it was going to work at all, because I couldn't see much difference during application. I immediately rinsed it out at the 5 minute mark, then towel dried, and blow dried just to make sure it was really 100% dry. At first it was subtle, but an improvement. As I continued to get ready for bed, I noticed it was getting darker still. Weird, but ok. I went to bed and took a picture in the morning after showering. So my final picture is definitely the end result!I did this ONE time, on December 13th. Today is December 26th and the color hasn't faded. I'm very happy with the result, very happy with how easy it was to use, and I have almost my entire bottle left! I do think the label on the bottle is a little funny, saying it's "for man" instead of "for men", but the product is solid and good stuff.

Effective, but too messy for me.
While intrigued by the plant-based and herbal formula of the Men 3 in 1 Black Beard Dye, I found myself disappointed by the mess it created. Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any adverse reactions, but the messiness of the product was a major drawback for me.Although effective in darkening my beard, the supposed convenience of a shampoo application fell short as I struggled to contain the mess during use. In comparison, other brands like Just for Men offer a cleaner application process with no staining issues.Ultimately, while the Men 3 in 1 Black Beard Dye gets the job done, I'll be sticking to my tried-and-true Just for Men shampoo for its mess-free application and reliable results.

Easy to use and effective
As with any product, you have to know what you're doing to get a good result, and this product is no exception. If you leave it on too long, you'll get extremely black unnatural looking hair, which isn't necessarily a fault of the product, because that's what it's supposed to do.With that said, I used this on my relatively large beard to cover up the bright white strands of beard hair that like to appear in my late 30's, and I only left it on for around 5 minutes. This resulted in most of my white hairs going away, with the rest of my beard not looking overly black.I've only tried one other beard dye in the past, they came in individual packets and were kind of a pain to use as you had to empty out the packet and then stir the contents in your glove. This doesn't require any of that, and the biggest difference is that this didn't dry out my beard for the following week like the other product did, it just felt as if I never applied any chemicals to it which is a huge plus.Once I was done, I foolishly tossed the bottle in the lower cabinet of my bathroom sink and it sat at an angle for a period of time which caused some of the product to leak so just be weary of where the bottle is stored and possibly toss it in a bag while not in use to avoid staining anything.

Don't think I'll do this again...
You know the newwest color of black they came out with? That absorbs light...? That is how black this is. That coupled with the fact that all of the instructions are in poorly translated english (from chinese) means I won't be buying this product again. I threw it in the trash. Made IN PRC (Peoples Republic of China) not that everything isn't made there these days but, no I don't think so.... Buyer beware
