Works and fits great!
Fit perfectly for my 2006 F-150 to replace the old one. It was plug and play too. Still working well a couple of months later

Fit my '06 Ford F-150
It comes with the bulbs, which was a nice surprise. Plug and play! Easy to install and looks great. Also came with a new gasket/seal to prevent water leaks into cab.

They need to add an extra connector part to allow compatibility for the wire harness.
I would have given 5 but the wire harness connectors did not match. removing the old and connecting the new harness was not easy. I had to drop down and unplug the inside dome light on the overhead fabric reach in with one hand to remove the old and connect the new wire harness. Plug the dome light back in then reposition it in the overhead. To get the inside dome light to snap back together. Press the dome light up. it will snap together when it comes in contact with the roof. Except for the difficulty with the wire harness the third brake light looks and works perfectly and I am happy with my purchase.

How's it wired?
This came with a connector plug. My truck seemed to be hard wired. Pulled the wire out as far as I could and felt around inside the hole no connector.Was simple enough to cut the connector off and do a little splicing.Pay attention to where you cut off so you keep the length. I had to connect multiple wires to one wire. Solder and heat shrink would have been great. I was stuck using butt splices and electrical tape.
