The internal part with the springs was mis aligned with the outer housing. Consequently the black cartridge could just be inserted but as you try to insert the yellow, magenta and cyan color cartridges they became increasingly harder to insert. The misaligned part in the original HP assembly had guide parts built into it that allowed the correct alignment during assembly. This inferior manufactered part did not have the guides and so was assembled in a manner that makes the part unusable.

Ordered this printhead (twice) and always get the "the printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed." message. Obviously HP has changed the code on how it detects printheads and this one does not get detected (for a HP 8710 printer).

This printer head was not recognized by my HP printer - even though it should have been. Returning - sending the item back to China for refund costs about $35 postage, so it's not worth the trouble. I would not do business with this seller again.

The product did not work on the printer as advertised. Failed completely.

Received an error saying “one or more cartridges are missing or damaged” after installing this printhead. All cartridges are new and HP brand. Defective printhead.

I’m still waiting for a return. I wrote and said the printer head was not working and still have not got a response back.

1 star only because you had to for you could submit reviewdefective equipment would not order this product again. this product damage a brand new ink cartridgethen to return it the seller (china) wants you to pay shipping which is triple the price of product.

This printhead is used and did not work.
