Helect Kitchen Scale, 5kg Multifunction Food Scale with Tare Function

Accurate (tested against known weights) very easy to use, the "on tare" function is excellent, allowing you to place a bowl or dish on the plate and zero the scale prior to weighing. I have not had it long, just a few days, so far so good, if it is as robust as it is useful then it will deserve its 5 points.The one thing that bugs me about these reviews is that suppliers are pestering for them within a day or so of you getting the thing, for me a good review comes after 6 months of use, by then you know how good something is, and how well it was made, but I went ahead with this anyway.

I got this as I started to follow a food program and I need it to measure everything I eat. I love it as it has a watch which help me to measure the time when I am preparing the food and the tare function is easily to use. It helps me to put my food in different recipients, reduce the recipients weight and measure my actual food weight. It is a very good quality for a very good price.

Stylish and modern looking scales. Fits my kitchen theme really well. Easy to clean and easy to use and understand.Bar at the back means they can be hung up if needed. Measures items in both imperial and metric. Batteries also come included so one less thing to worry about.Really happy with the my purchase and would recommend

Very happy with the scales. Use all the time in the kitchen to weigh out food....not only for recipe ingredients but also for things like raw oat cereal, pasta, rice and other grains, so I can control portion size and add the correct amount of cooking water. Cannot turn off, but automatically reverts to a useful default kitchen clock after a short time of inactivity. I like the digital readings on the front of the scale at an angle, as opposed to the top platform.... easier to read and large bowls can cover the screen when on a flat top.

The scales are nice looking and function well, however I have removed one star as the LCD display is not backlit and can be difficult to read when shaded by a measuring container.

I use this for baking about once a week. It came with working batteries. The intent is for this to always be on (can't turn it off) and for a clock to always be displayed when not measuring things. I thought the batteries they sent were just old or something, because they died about 1 week after I got it. I bought a pack of 2 batteries and wore out the second after another week. Then, I realized that the clock is a serious battery drain. Now I take the battery out after each use. This battery has lasted several months (again, using it about 1-2 a week).So, it's great as a scale, but don't get it for the clock. You'll go through batteries way too fast.

so easy to use. I leave it on the worktop all the time. Put your jug / bowl/pan on it, zero the weight and add what you want to weigh, zero again to add more ingredients. eg, flour then butter/ marg etc.I am on Slimming world so the is excellent to measure healthy B

It was smaller than I was expecting but that just meant it fits in the cupboard easier. Looks modern and was really easy to set up the time and use. Can switch between g and oz and reset to 0 after weighing other items in the same bowl.
