I was hoping the foam would be a lot firmer than it is. Therefore I may not be able to use it. It isn't super soft but not as firm as I need.

OMG what a drag to open and unwrap the rolled vacuum packaging!!! You will need to be PATIENT so you don't damage the foam. Then you will be rewarded with a sheet that is not soft, but DURABLE (not hard either). This foam does not feel like the soft memory foam I am familiar with so I don't consider it real memory foam.It is more of a medium charcoal color than black and everything likes to stick to it.I had left it unrolled on the sofa and ended up laying on it one night. It was strung across the sofa edge to the ottoman. I noticed that I did not feel the wooden frames I felt before when I tried to use the ottoman like a lounge extension. Hm, maybe I should get one of these in a bit wider size, or change my plans for this one? Yeah, it was THAT effective... :)

I had recently bought an Indian pouf. It seems that a pouf is like a footstool except there's fabric sewn to make a cube and use stuff it with what the ad says is anything around the house.I guess that works OK but makes the pouf really heavy to be able to kick out of the way.I tried this foam cushion which I was able to cut into squares that fit right into my square pouf.So the footstool holds it shape and this foam is heavy enough so that my feet don't sink down too far.

Worked well for padding and fill for speaker enclosures.

Not high density foam. This is a not ideal for seat cushions. It is too soft and compressible. Very difficult to return as well.
