The first thing to say is there are absolutely no instructions with us. So if you haven’t read all the reviews by Amazon users, then you might not have any idea what to do with it. Perhaps it’s because it’s so simple to operate it’s assumed anyone will be able to do it without instructions. That said, it really is very easy to use. All you do is connect your existing hose to the quick connect attachment on the vacuum, then tie the little bag round the top and attach the handle, turn on the hose and move the vacuum cleaner along the pool and the water going in creates a vacuum and draws any bits of debris up into the little bag. II took this out of the box and within five minutes I was already picking up the grit and leaves from my hot tub. It really is simple and does exactly the job its designed to do, the only thing that I think would improve this as if you were able to attach a long pole to it as there really isn’t any way to use it other than to get in the pool with it . Maybe not a problem most of the time but my hot tub has been switched off for the last week and I was cleaning it before turning the filter back on so the water was freezing. If you were cleaning a large pool it might be a bit of a job without a pole. All in all, for my purposes, I’m happy.

This pool brush set up in less than 5 mins, attach a garden hose and brush the pool down, it’s great for a larger outdoor pool. Got the bugs and debris off the bottom without needed to empty and refil saving a ton of water. This one isn’t supplied with a handle but we already had one

So didn’t expect much from this as just plug in to hose but… it’s actually pretty good I haven’t got a handle extender but can be bought separately I used it without the water jets under which creates a vacuum for the bits on the bottom of the pool bits stay in bag too was a great little gadget for the bits that lay on the bottom of the pool floor would recommend

I got this to use in a largish paddling pool I have and it arrived simply packaged in a plastic bag and with no instructions. However, it is fairly easy to work out how it goes together. One of the pieces is a handle and in the photos in the Amazon UK website it show this attached to a pole. This cannot be done with the one I received, which was really annoying. Since that’s exactly how I wanted to use it. Without the option to attach a pole, you are going to have to get in, in order to clean.I opted for a bit of home DIY and drilled out the end of the handle and with the help of cable ties, was able to attach a pole.How effective this is will depend partly on you water pressure. The greater the pressure, the greater the suction effect.Despite the annoying handle issue, it did actual work reasonably well – see before and after photos. It’s not the fastest if things, but did get the job done and made a significant difference to the cleanliness of the paddling pool.If you are specifically after one of these that you can attach a pole to, then this isn’t the one for.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Got this for my daughters pool, but unfortunately it does not come with the handle (even though its shown in the pictures) so can't really use it without that. Yes I could order it separately, but you can buy the same item including the pole for less than this one is selling for, so I'll probably do that.I did use it on her smaller pool but it was not really deep enough, so just had water shooting in to the air and the pool was no cleaner, so only really works on pools with deep water. Overall I'm dissapointed with this, I feel its lacking a vital accessory, without which, it's very difficult, if not impossible, to use properly.

I was hoping this would be suitable to clean out a child's paddling pool but unfortunately it isn't. Due to the way it it creates suction by forcing water up the tube using jets of water, if the pool is too shallow there isn't enough head of water above to stop the jets blasting water high into the air. You can remove the head and use it on it's side, but this would be very time consuming. I wouldn't purchase this unless the water in your pool is at least 12" deep.So while it's not suitable for very shallow pools, it also doesn't seem like it could be used for deep pools as there's no handle or pole! If you wanted to clean anything deeper than a couple of feet, youd' have to put your head under the water. There isn't even a way to atttach a pole even if you wanted to as for some odd reason they've chosen to make the "mini handle" closed at the end when they could have just made it a tube.So in summary, it's likely only good for very small children's pools with a water depth of at least 12 inches but less than 24 inches. The pictures therefore, are highly misleading!I recommend the manufacturer changes the design of the handle to allow it to accept a pole of some kind.
