Lloytron F1002WH Stay Cool Desk Fan, 6-Inch, 16 W, White

This has been an absolute lifesaver in my poorly climate controlled office. It really packs a punch despite it's tiny size, and can be angled upwards to direct it away from any papers on your desk. The control is on the back which is a bit awkward but there's not really anywhere else to put it. It has a tiny footprint and just perches behind my laptop keeping me cool without bothering people who sit nearby who don't have my ridiculously high body temperature. It's fairly quiet too - you notice when you turn it on but not after a few minutes. Colleagues have not complained - in fact someone has bought their own.

One of the three that I ordered arrived with a broken cage. The fan cage is made of plastic rather than metal.The fans have been fairly quiet, and remained so after a summers use. They provide good cooling for one person. They don't take up much desk space, are very light to move around and should not annoy anyone else. In an office or relaxation setting, I prefer them to larger fans, which end up blowing papers everywhere, are noisier and are physically too distracting if you are close.

Little small but does the job

Arrived today its quiet in operation and on speed 1 it cools me at my desk so I don't even need speed 2.Put it on your bed side cabinet at night to keep you cool.It is designed for 1 person so will not cool a very big room buy a fan to suit your needs I did and i am very happy with this COOL lol little fan.It is a plastic construction if you want metal pay double the price I'm a big FAN of this little item double lol.

Fan purchased for my son. Not as pictured but sent with a "stay cool"logo in the centre of the fan. Not as discribed but misleading discription. Fan noisy unable to use. I have tried to return but has closed my request. stating that I was out of the return date but I have had had this less that 12 months.

The fan itself is reasonable and produces a pleasant breeze, however the stand and connecting bolt are poorly designed. The bolt itself won't screw inwards properly and can simply be pulled out. Consequently the fan can not be tilted to intermediate settings and will only sit fully backwards or fully forwards. Snapping the bottom of the fan into the stand is also fiddly and the control dial on the rear of the fan is too small to change by reaching around the back. Overall a poorly designed fan that I would not recommend purchasing.

Arrived in time to help me through the summer heat we are having. The switch is on the back of the fan which is a little awkward. The stand is a bit lightweight, but I weighed it down easily to be sure it would be safe. The fan kicks out a surprising nice cool air flow, considering it came at a very reasonable price. Would buy again.
