While this bag is designed for the baseball player, I purchased this to replace my old back pack that I used for the locker room at the gym. What makes this stand out is the side zipping compartment. You don't have to remove your gear out of the bag in to a locker. Simply put the bag in the locker, and as you finish your workout or game, you can come back to your locker, open the side compartment and easily pull out clean clothes, shoes or sandals while putting your soiled clothes in as well. There's a shelving system in the bag that can be removed if needed and you can still open the bag from the top like other backpacks and access all the same areas as you would normally. If you're looking at this for baseball, there are some elastic straps on the side that hold your bats as well. What ever your using this for, it was designed for the athlete or gym workout in mind. Zippers on this are very cheap. They do not work very well. The compartment for the shoes is too tiny for American shoes. There is a tiny compartment to hold a small wallet, but does not hold your phone. There needs to be a dedicated compartment to hold things like aspirin.

Easy to stay organized within a gym locker context - minimal sprawl. Like that it is a backpack instead of duffle.
