Seiko SNAF85P1 Chronograph Men's Watch Stainless Steel Silicone Strap

Arrived two days before estimated date (Free delivery to a UK address, too) so no worries there. Comes in an attractive presentation box in case you're buying this as a prezzie. I've worn the watch now for 3 weeks since unpacking, and it looks as good on as it does in the photo. Worth mentioning that the case is a high-gloss black, which isn't obvious from the photo, but I'm OK with that. Illustrated, easy to follow multi language user booklet makes setup and use simple.Timekeeping:- I synchronised the watch with a well-known German radio-clock broadcast, and spot on after 48 hours.Action:- Sweep second hand aligns well with individual second marks on outer band, and with baton markers also (the yellow bands where numbers 1,2,3,4,5, etc would be).Sub dials:- 24-hour dial perfectly accurate. Initially a bit disappointed with the two sub-dials for the stopwatch function, as these did not return to absolute zero when reset, but after 5 or 6 timings and resets they now do reset to absolute zero! Perhaps a little trace of machining oil now swept clean with use?Strap:- Strap is comfortable enough from new, but like other silicon-rubber it softens with use and becomes more so. I don't think that my wrist circumference is all that big at 200mm: the strap fastened for me on the third hole in from the open end initially, but after 3 weeks wear it is now fastened on the fourth, so check your own before ordering. NB - holes are spaced apart at 6mm centres, so check it will fit!Update March 2020 - just had to have this repaired as the cheapskate I went to for a new battery managed to cause the stopwatch function to fail. Took it to a proper jeweler who had it working again in pretty short order, and at minimal cost. Delighted, as I still love this watch, and still get admiring comments.
