I think this works better than our Hamilton Beach. My husband thinks it's noisy, but I think it's on par with others. Crushes my frozen fruits really well, but leaves a few bigger pieces when we use ice. All in all, I think it works great for the price point.

I bought this blender a year ago, admiring the styling and the glass jar. I have to say that it worked really well up until this week when the motor died. I have never had a blender motor just completely die on me, but it happened. I usually buy things like this with the expectation that they will last me for many years. I do a ton of research to pick things out that I think I will like and that will be good quality, and I am so disappointed that this blender is no longer functional after only one year.

Love this. I purchased this to break up food scrapes to make our garden compost time faster. Ending up using the coffee grinder way more.

The glass jar (container) easily fits into the top (black plastic) of blender; however, in this INITIAL position the blender can not be actuated (powered). The glass jar must be forcefully rotated CLOCKWISE by 1/4 turn from its initial position, then and only then the RED power light will be lit (assuming power cord is plugged in). Once this RED light is lit, the power knob can be turned to either of the two blender speeds.Also be aware of the fact that the glass jar's removeable cover fits VERY tightly. To remove the entire cover in order to pour out jar contents takes a LOT of force.

I wasn’t sure I would like it with just two speeds. However my biggest challenge was learning how to lock it in place. I use the small one to grind coffee beans. It’s very pretty I also chose it because the largeness of cups or ounces and it’s glass. I use the blender a lot and needed durability. Works great. I do recommend this blender.

I chose this blender because it seemed decent and came with a grinder.I feel this blender has a poor design unfortunately.I did see some reviews where the bottom came out and spilled everywhere. Now I know why. It really does. It’s a mess.Another problem for me, It’s difficult to click/ lock in and then unlock. You can’t use it one handed.And because it tightly holds the pitcher bottom it will unscrew the bottom instead of un locking from the base.The grinder isn’t really a grinder. You have to add liquid to it. So if you were hoping to toast spices and grind. You can’t.My pro would be - It’s nice the pitcher is glass and a stir rod.Because it was so difficult to lock in and unlock and also unscrews the bottom of the pitcher. I decided to return this blender. I hated it.

It’s as loud as your typical blender nothing out of the ordinary. The blender part is made of heavy duty glass which is unusual these days and I’m happy to have found. Love the retro look as well. It blends extremely well and quickly. Love that it comes with a grinder. High quality product at an amazing price,,,

Unfortunately I have not used this item although I was anxious to get it. I didn’t expect it to be as large as it is. I intended to use it for small batches of food at a time. I had one a long time ago and only used it a few times so now I am not sure what to do with it .
