Simple product which works well and makes recycling of coffee pods easy. Product appears to be sturdy although have only used for 20/30 capsules so far. I wonder if the spoon element could be damaged with heavy use-time will tell.I think the price is rather high for a moulded piece of plastic but no doubt design and set up costs are being absorbed.

I’ve been recycling my pods for years, using a butter knife to cut them open and scoop out the grounds. I thought this device seemed silly and unnecessary. I was wrong. The foil removal is clean and flawless every time and the scoop gets nearly all the grounds out very quickly. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Funziona, nulla di particolare, occorre un minimo di manualità e pazienza ma è una attività rilassante e corretta per l'ambiente. L'utilizzo è cmq temporaneo perchè le prossime capsule saranno quelle completamente compostabili.

Does exactly as described. Have used for about a year - If you're looking into recycling Nespresso Original pods at home this is probably the easiest way to do it.Also, compared to other recycling 'devices' here it's easier to clean and takes up less space.For example, the ones with the bucket/cylinder container you have to use extra force to get the grounds out, and even after that, the capsule is inside out with the foil cover completely shredded. You end up having to peel the foil bits off one by one or just leaving it on completely...at that point might as well use a knife and cut it yourself.. those types of recyclers are not the best solution in my opinion.With this cutter you just push a capsule against the circle, give a slight twist and it cuts the foil perfectly. Then you scoop out the grounds with the other end and that’s it! five stars.
