Just excellent fun, great sound too

A trip down memory lane. This is basically a slightly improved version of the original Atari Berzerk on the 2600/VCS.Pretty much business as usual except it now comes with the speech that you had on the arcade original.Good purchase if you don't have the original or if you simply want to collect new releases.

This game is an improvement of the original 2600 port of Berzerk. The enemies can now fire on diagonals and there is some speech which was a feature of the original arcade game. However there is one star off because there is no manual in the box which given the effort expended to create the nice cartridge, sleeve and box shows poor judgement given that this item is aimed at collectors.

I never played this game back in the day, happy to have the improved version with diagonal shooting as per the arcade, it adds an interesting dimension even though it is difficult to achieve on a CX-40 Atari joystick

Certainly one of the best games for the 2600. So nostalgic. Simple fun. So addictive.

I like that this title is compatible with a number of other Atari systems. The name of the game is Berzerk. The game came brand new and sealed in perfect condition. This is the Enhanced Edition of the game. The artwork is beautiful. This is a very fun game to play. You basically battle the enemies and get through the maze’s. Try to keep from going bonkers as you dodge robot fire and elude the robot gang leader, Evil Otto. Your objective: Destroy robots, rack up as many points as possible, and stay alive as you move through a multitude of maddening Berzerk maze’s.
