Do not buy
Brackets are too big for 4x4s water collects in the bases

Perfect for our rear-porch-sitting pergola!
I simply wish this came as an option in a much larger set (same sized brackets, for many more attach/build points) in an even better bulk pricing!Finish, so far, looks great and a huge upscale improvement over what I had otherwise planned, if on the cheap. To get this kind of look from just north of an extra $100 in hardware (that I'll honestly likely need to double), I feel is a wonderful value. Hard to allow for so many different skus, but it sure would be nice from a vendor like this to allow picking and choosing extra certain bracket-types to include in the same shipment and cause a deeper discount--much like I feel is currently unmatched that is doable at the local hardware stores. But for what this is, I would ( and probably will) order again, and confidently recommend!

An Ingenious Tool for Perfect Pergolas!
The media could not be loaded. It took me a while to muster up the courage to set up a pergola in my backyard. I'd always imagined it as a DIY project worthy of a montage scene in a film. Picture this: There's me, struggling with beams, a la Tom Hanks in "Cast Away", shouting, "I HAVE MADE FIRE!" every time I successfully fit a piece. That was until I got my hands on the Pergola Gazebo Brackets-Kit 4x4 Yzzwer.Right off the bat, I appreciated the heft and quality of the metal carbon steel brackets. Having dealt with rust issues in past projects, I was pleasantly surprised by the rust and scratch-resistant features of this kit. Each component felt sturdy, ensuring that my pergola wouldn’t just be a fleeting backyard feature. The package was comprehensive. The 3-way brackets fit snugly, ensuring a stable connection for the 4x4 wood beams. The inclusion of post bases, expansion bolts, and hexagon screws was a godsend. I didn't have to run to the hardware store mid-project, which, trust me, can be a mood-killer.Fast forward a couple of weekends, and there it stood – my constructed outdoor pergola. And let me tell you, it's not just a structure; it's the heart of our backyard gatherings. Like the stage in "Friends" where Phoebe strummed her guitar, this pergola became the focal point of many memorable moments with family and friends. But, as they say in infomercials, that's not all! A touch of humor: I think the pergola is making my plants jealous. They're probably thinking, "Hey, why does he get a fancy roof and we don’t?"**Pros:**- **Sturdy Material:** The metal carbon steel assures longevity and resistance to natural elements.- **All-Inclusive Kit:** Everything you need is in the box, minimizing interruptions.- **Easy Mounting:** Designed for straightforward attachment to 4x4 wood beams.- **Enhances Outdoor Space:** The finished pergola becomes an inviting space for gatherings.**Cons:**- **Requires Basic DIY Skills:** Those new to DIY might find the process a bit challenging initially.- **Specific to 4x4 Beams:** The brackets are designed for 3.5x3.5 inch beams, limiting its versatility for other sizes. In summary, the Pergola Gazebo Brackets-Kit is a well-thought-out product that simplifies the otherwise complex task of setting up a pergola. It's a blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal, and for someone looking to add a touch of class to their backyard, it’s a worthy investment.

Good quality, seem sturdy
My partner hasn't built the pergola yet, but these are sturdy and welded. The 90s have a spot to hook a canopy over top if that's the kind of pergola you're making. They are also much cheaper than buying at the hardware store. They come wrapped and tetras packaged into a box. I think my partner was pleased.
