OUR FAMILY IS TOUGH ON CHARGING CABLES Admittedly, my family is very hard on our charging cables (I personally am the worst). Promises of life time warranties usually fall flat in my household because we are all hard on electronics and their accessories. With that in mind, I have very high hopes for this belt cable. I registered my product immediately, and time will tell if it lasts long. INITIAL IMPRESSIONS - BEAUTIFUL PACKAGING - WOULD MAKE A HANDSOME LOOKING GIFT I can give you some initial impressions. First, the packaging is very nice. There’s a little tab on the side, and a “tray” containing the cable slides out. It makes for a nice presentation and would make a gift extra special for this reason. DURABLE - NICE LEATHER STRAP (NO MORE VELCRO!) The cable itself is flexible, but certainly more rigid than any cable I have ever owned. It’s definitely thick and durable. I LOVE the leather strap to wind up the cable. I find that the Velcro straps you normally get on a cable just collect a bunch of fuzz over time and that can look pretty gross. FASTER CHARGING I noticed that charging times are more rapid. Clearly this cable’s thickness allows it to carry electrical current well. FINAL THOUGHTS If you’re like me, and you are sick and tired of buying charging cables every six months to a year (depending on the quality you choose to buy), then this product might be what you are looking for. I was willing to pay the price of this product based on manufacturer claims (and I can clearly see that the cable is high quality based on its tangible characteristics). Time will tell, but I think it’s definitely worth a try.

It works well, only that i chose a vey short one.

I ordered my charger back in February 2020. It was in the rose color. Up until recently, after 3 years of constant use, it worked very well. It started unraveling a bit from obvious length of usage near the part that goes in my phone and then the wire started burning. It burnt my finger and it would smoke if I had the wire plugged in. This is definitely a huge hazard but also, like I said previously, I used this wire a lot. It was worn out. I reached out to the company because I saw they had a warranty that said they could replace them if you had yours for at least a year. I didn’t think I would get a replacement (I’ve already had it for over three years) but I figured it was worth a shot. I filled out an online form and the beginning of the week Native Union customer service had responded. I explained what was wrong with the wire and they asked for pictures/videos for troubleshooting. I sent a picture of the damaged wire and took a video of it smoking as soon as I plugged it in. Without question, they apologized and said they would send me a replacement. They asked what color I wanted since they were out of the pink. I received my new wire (in the picture) within the week. Shout out to Native Union, they were so great! Definitely recommending them to anyone! I loved my first charger and I’m so happy to have a replacement!

This is the only iPhone lightning cord that lasts forever or until I lose it. You get what you pay for. It is the very best. Yes, it costs too much! It doesn’t produce headaches!

The cable quality is very good, lasting well and long. Flexibility, charging speed is good length not too long, but the right size.

After spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to find a great replacement cable for a soon to be dead iPhone...but still need it to charge and nothing is working well I decided to look at the Native Union charging cable. If you go into an Apple store they sell three kinds of charging cables, theirs (aka: spend a small fortune to have it crap out on you in no time) and two other brands, this product happens to be one of those two. I liked the look of this one better and happy Prime day to us, it went on sale and the almost defunct phone lives again!!! Pros: well made product Decent warranty (hopefully we won't need to contact company/try to redeem a warranty claim) Allows the lighting charging to function. Design happens to look really cool. (We went with the black and white zebra look). The leather band is cool. Cons: The price is high so watch for sales(shocking as this is to say...so far the $20 price actually seems worth it) The little leather band is a thin leather, unless it's kangaroo leather I'm not sure how long it'll last. We shall see. I no longer her, "Why isn't my phone charging?!?! (Oh wait...that's not a con. My bad.)

I cavi native union sono cari rispetto alle diverse alternative che si trovano in giro, ma la qualità è ai massimi livelli, ovviamente sono certificati mfi Apple (mai avuto nessun problema ne per la ricarica ne per il trasferimento dati). A dimostrazione della mia precedente affermazione posso dire di aver già acquistato un cavo native union tre anni fa e ad oggi, nonostante lo abbia maltrattato, è ancora integro senza nessun danno. Il cavo si presenta con un design molto accattivante: una guaina di tessuto sintetico ne ricopre tutta la lunghezza garantendone la resistenza. I connettori presenti alle estremità del cavo (da un lato usb e dall’altro lighting) sono rinforzati restituendo una sensazione di grande resistenza. Il prezzo di questo cavo (circa 27 euro al momento della recensione) è superiore a quello originale Apple, ma la qualità costruttiva non è minimamente paragonabile, ovviamente a favore del native union. Chiaramente consigliato, se riuscite a trovarlo a qualche euro in meno (20-25) diventa un Best Buy.

The cable is made of excellent materials, but stopped working after a month of light use. Pretty disappointing as Native Union products are usually of such high quality.

A charging cable that comes in a presentation box? Oh yes! You just know you've got something a bit special when a mundane item takes on a new level like Native Union does with this product. It looks great, feels sturdy and has a few quality of life features such as a gorgeous leather tie on it for keeping it the length you need. I bought three different high-end charging cables at the same time to test them out for myself. I won't name the others, but Native Union was my favorite, by a long chalk.
