Review: If you’re thinking about it, pick this one... - Purchased king size. It was extremely easy to put together - it only took an hour to do by myself. Once everything was tightened and ready for the mattress, the bed was super sturdy, without the slightest wiggle. Pros - Price! - Good quality for what you pay. - Ratcheting Allen Key!!! Omg, I would have purchased this just for the ratcheting Allen key, you changed my life. If you’re not feeling it, there’s also a regular Allen key. - The fabric is a nice sturdy material - I expect it to last a decent amount of time. - Nicely packed and organized. Cons: - The box was very heavy, as to be expected, but it would be very helpful to put some kind of handle cutouts for maneuvering into the house. My husband and oldest son had a hard time moving it in the house, but I did fine on my own without them when I unboxed and set it up. I think it was the awkward size that made it hard for them. The only thing I want to add, but was totally my fault - I almost missed the washers for the last four bolts to attach the side wings (?). Review: Would give it 6 stars if I could - I ordered this bed because of it's reviews. My cynical coworker said "They're just paid reviews. They do it all the time." While that may be true for some products, this review is real. I imagine many others are as well. I'm not a paid reviewer. I did not receive this bed for free. I gotta say...this bed is amazing. Absolutely amazing. It was so easy to put together I could have figured it out without any instructions at all. Even with the instructions, it's only like 9 steps from start to finish. I couldn't believe how sturdy it is. I just put the two crossed support bars together (no outside frame yet) and it was already solid as a rock. The pieces went together so easy. They even included a ratchet so you don't have to hand crank the (also included) allen wrench. Thanks to the ratchet, I didn't need to touch the allen wrench at all. Since all of the pieces are covered in fabric, there is no squeaking whatsoever. And the slats...oh my gosh I feel so stupid now. All these years I've put together my various beds and I never thought of the velcro. All the slats are tied together, so they stay bundled together and just unfold onto the bed. They all have velcro, so no screwing into wood to put them into place. This thing isn't just built well...it's an amazing design. When I move to another home, I can take it all apart and set it up somewhere else without any damage. Older beds I had to take out screws and drill new holes...not this one. I've never been so happy with a piece of furniture that came in a box. This thing is amazing. If I had to complain about something, it's a little low for me. But it's also my first platform bed. I'm used to the 8 inch box spring under my mattress, so my bed is a little lower than I'm used to. For anyone wondering if this would be okay for your bed in a box, yes, it is. I have a Helix mattress on this bed and it's perfect. Aside from being lower than I'm used to, I couldn't be happier with this bed. It's the best piece of post-assembled furniture I've ever purchased. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

**Q: Can this bed handle high “couple activity”? Is it noisy?**
A: Yes it can and no noises at all .. very sound bed .

**Q: Would a 14” memory foam mattress be too tall for this bed?**
A: It would be perfect.  .as for me I like high bed.

**Q: Can this bed be assembled by one person?**
A: My bed room is in 3rd floor, and I almost felt like i need to ask my friend to help carry the bed upstairs, but once I disassembled the packaging downstairs, it was easy to carry by myself and assemble on my own. anything that would help me being strong independent and single - I am for it!

**Q: Is is compatible with an adjustable king?**
A: The answers to this question are all over the place from yes, to no to maybe. Let me be as clear as possible. This bed frame is NOT built/designed to work with an adjustable frame. 

One of the primary reasons is the fact that the side panels come in two pieces which depend on the inner frame and wood slats to make everything secure and stable. Without that inner frame and slats you need to perform some customizations just to make it work - although you should not expect the stability of what is described in most of these reviews. The steps to customize, at least how I see it: 1) you must purchase brackets to bind the two halves of each side panel, then 2) remove the wood lip that holds the slats in place. This leaves you with a frame without anything in the middle that will allow your adjustable base to sit within the frame. The next trick is ensuring that the mattress platform of the adjustable base sits higher than the frame itself as it's highly unlikely it will completely fit _within_ the frame and even if it did fit, having the platform above the frame itself means you will not put pressure on the somewhat fragile frame you're left with after the customizations (most adjustable bases come with options to increase the leg height of the base). For us, it could work w/customizations, but without the inner frame to make the structure and stable as it was designed to be, you are left with a frame that will likely last a fraction of the time it was designed to last.

Purchased king size. It was extremely easy to put together - it only took an hour to do by myself. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The other reviews did not lie, great piece of furniture and relatively easy to assemble

First thing: there was NO and hasn't been any evidence of bed begs. Second: it was super heavy and fortunately since I live in a condo so I was able to have the delivery people bring it into my room. They were efficient and polite. Gave advance notice that they were nearby and came during the window of time I requested. Third: as you can see in my photos the items were all packed up inside the zippered headboard and I cosign that the rachet Allen wrench was very useful to get the work done with ease. Fourth: it took me about 3 hrs on my own to finish putting together the bed (I'm 5'2, 220 lb) and I feel like I could have finished it sooner if I was I in a hurry. I was just taking my time while also binging a show on Netflix so obviously I wasn't completely focused on the job. It has been a few weeks and I can honestly say that I love my bed. It was an upgrade to a queen so it's nice to have more space. The headboard is firm to support you sitting up and also very squishy. Nice alternative to a hard wall. I would highly recommend it. I was a little nervous about the wingback part but it gives it a classy look. I used a 10 in memory foam mattress and as you can see it doesn't sit too high on the bed so easy to get on. Very sturdy and I have no regrets. Be more than happy to give an update in a few months!
