Purchased king size. It was extremely easy to put together - it only took an hour to do by myself. Once everything was tightened and ready for the mattress, the bed was super sturdy, without the slightest wiggle. Pros - Price! - Good quality for what you pay. - Ratcheting Allen Key!!! Omg, I would have purchased this just for the ratcheting Allen key, you changed my life. If you’re not feeling it, there’s also a regular Allen key. - The fabric is a nice sturdy material - I expect it to last a decent amount of time. - Nicely packed and organized. Cons: - The box was very heavy, as to be expected, but it would be very helpful to put some kind of handle cutouts for maneuvering into the house. My husband and oldest son had a hard time moving it in the house, but I did fine on my own without them when I unboxed and set it up. I think it was the awkward size that made it hard for them. The only thing I want to add, but was totally my fault - I almost missed the washers for the last four bolts to attach the side wings (?). I literally told my husband I needed to buy some, then saw them in the blister pack during cleanup. It was easy to fix, but don’t overlook them like I did. Overall, this was easy to build, is super sturdy, and looks great at an amazing price. Don’t miss this item!

I ordered this bed because of it's reviews. My cynical coworker said "They're just paid reviews. They do it all the time." While that may be true for some products, this review is real. I imagine many others are as well. I'm not a paid reviewer. I did not receive this bed for free. I gotta say...this bed is amazing. Absolutely amazing. It was so easy to put together I could have figured it out without any instructions at all. Even with the instructions, it's only like 9 steps from start to finish. I couldn't believe how sturdy it is. I just put the two crossed support bars together (no outside frame yet) and it was already solid as a rock. The pieces went together so easy. They even included a ratchet so you don't have to hand crank the (also included) allen wrench. Thanks to the ratchet, I didn't need to touch the allen wrench at all. Since all of the pieces are covered in fabric, there is no squeaking whatsoever. And the slats...oh my gosh I feel so stupid now. All these years I've put together my various beds and I never thought of the velcro. All the slats are tied together, so they stay bundled together and just unfold onto the bed. They all have velcro, so no screwing into wood to put them into place. This thing isn't just built well...it's an amazing design. When I move to another home, I can take it all apart and set it up somewhere else without any damage. Older beds I had to take out screws and drill new holes...not this one. I've never been so happy with a piece of furniture that came in a box. This thing is amazing. If I had to complain about something, it's a little low for me. But it's also my first platform bed. I'm used to the 8 inch box spring under my mattress, so my bed is a little lower than I'm used to. For anyone wondering if this would be okay for your bed in a box, yes, it is. I have a Helix mattress on this bed and it's perfect. Aside from being lower than I'm used to, I couldn't be happier with this bed. It's the best piece of post-assembled furniture I've ever purchased. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

First thing: there was NO and hasn't been any evidence of bed begs. Second: it was super heavy and fortunately since I live in a condo so I was able to have the delivery people bring it into my room. They were efficient and polite. Gave advance notice that they were nearby and came during the window of time I requested. Third: as you can see in my photos the items were all packed up inside the zippered headboard and I cosign that the rachet Allen wrench was very useful to get the work done with ease. Fourth: it took me about 3 hrs on my own to finish putting together the bed (I'm 5'2, 220 lb) and I feel like I could have finished it sooner if I was I in a hurry. I was just taking my time while also binging a show on Netflix so obviously I wasn't completely focused on the job. It has been a few weeks and I can honestly say that I love my bed. It was an upgrade to a queen so it's nice to have more space. The headboard is firm to support you sitting up and also very squishy. Nice alternative to a hard wall. I would highly recommend it. I was a little nervous about the wingback part but it gives it a classy look. I used a 10 in memory foam mattress and as you can see it doesn't sit too high on the bed so easy to get on. Very sturdy and I have no regrets. Be more than happy to give an update in a few months!

I was sceptical about purchasing a bed set on Amazon, especially one at this price point. I could not be happier with the purchase! Assembly was easy enough. The instructions made it really easy. The entire bed set came bundled into the headboard, so when you notice you only have one long package, the parts for the rest of the frame are within the headboard (which I thought was neat) The parts and the design of the frame was simple and easy to set up. The instructions had detailed photos of what needed to go where, and I was able to get it built in about an hour or so. The only part I did not like was putting those ears on the frame at the very end. Other than that, this has been a very sturdy and comfortable looking bed frame. The texture does not feel fake or of low quality. It looks and feels good. I definitely recommend this product.

This is my second Zinus bed. Cannot go wrong for the price. They are pretty solid and easy to assemble. Bought our first in 2019 for master bedroom and is still in perfect condition. This one is for daughter’s room. Her mattress is 16” so not as much of the headboard shows with the multiple pillows but is still beautiful in the room. Would totally recommend this bed.

This bed is awesome! I'm a weirdo who actually likes making Ikea furniture but this bed was by far the easiest thing I have ever assembled. The ratchet it comes with is a game changer and the design of the bed is ingenious. I was able to make the king sized bed myself in about an hour and a half. I did have to take the pieces out of the headboard to take them upstairs because as mentioned it is quite heavy. Once the mattress was on the bed is so sturdy. No squeaking or movement at all. I love this bed and at this price point you cant go wrong.

There’s me, my fiancé and our 2 big dogs. It’s noisy when you’re moving around or ya know 😏 but it’s not like loud if that makes sense. It’s also very sturdy! My dogs like to run from the door and jump on the bed and it’s held up! I love the look. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars is because the two side panel holes were way to big to put the side panels up. Which really doesn’t bother me but I know it would bother some people.

I spent a fair bit of time reviewing bed frames online before purchasing. I wanted something simple to setup, sturdy, and nice looking, and this hit all the checkmarks for me, plus the price is unbeatable. Couple things that I didn't see in other reviews: - It arrives in a VERY heavy box, that you'll need two people to haul in to your place (I was up a flight of stairs in my townhome and no way is it doable with one person). I have no idea how the delivery person got it to the doorstep, but koodos to them. - all parts come neatly packed in the zippered storage behind the headboard which is a nice touch, plus you can use that for storage once it's assembled (maybe an extra blanket or two). - nice touch to include both the hex wrench, and the wratcheting hex wrench (makes assembly with two people faster, and tightening down all the bolts a breeze). They even give you spare bolts should you need them. - very intuitive construction and parts fit together perfectly, assembled in about 30 minutes or less. Once constructed this thing is as sturdy as a bedframe comes, and completely silent (velcro padded design on the wood slats helps), and no movement of the mattress. - couple dimension comments: some people didn't like the height of the headboard with a thick mattress. My mattress is about 14" and I still have plenty of headboard to spare (see dimensions, about 31" from the wood slats to the top of the headboard, so just subtract the thickness of your mattress to give you how much will be exposed. I purchased the queen, so king sizes or others may vary from this. - no off gassing or smell, even right out of the package. - overall, couldn't be more happy and would purchase again for sure! Will update this review after a few weeks/months of use.
