As a piano teacher, I love using this book with early intermediate students. The selections are thoughtfully chosen and feel musical and expressive while still being approachable. It helps students transition from beginner pieces into more traditional classical repertoire with confidence. I really appreciate how this book develops artistry alongside technique. The pieces encourage musical phrasing, dynamics, and thoughtful interpretation. My students enjoy the variety, and the online audio is a great bonus for reinforcing listening skills and practice at home.

I love the favorite piano, literature book series. It is set up to where you’re able to play Baroque, classical, romantic, and, contemporary music. There is a variety of different composers in the book and beautiful repertoire listed in each literature book. Highly recommend!

As an adult learning the piano, I was thrilled to find this book. It follows the first book titled The Developing Artist Preparatory Piano Literature. The price is right and the song selections are enjoyable. Love it!

This book has a nice selection of piano pieces at the late intermediate level. I like that the songs are grouped by the time period in which they were composed, and that the book also gives a brief overview of the time periods in music history. It's a great introduction to piano repertoire that can be used to supplement a student's regular piano method books.

Faber and Faber piano books are some of the very best. This one does not disappoint.

I love the variety of music in this book. Great book to play classical songs as I learn the piano.

I like how there are different periods of musical composition clearly marked for the students, but the level seems a bit easier than I'd thought. As far as variety in each section, Snell definitely wins for the Baroque-Romantic, but this does have a few good Modern pieces. But probably I'd just use sheet music or RCOM to complement the Snell rather than sacrificing the variety and using this book. Again, decent, but just not something I'll likely be returning to.

This series is excellent for sight reading and learning a wide variety of piano skills. The link to audios for each piece are provided on the inside cover. Many teachers also play the pieces on youtube.

Received the book in proper condition along with cd. Packaging was fantastic. The print is moderately large and clean.

I started the book halfway through Adult Piano Adventures 2. It has some short and sweet selections. It is good for practicing sight-reading and good for early grade classical training. Strongly suggested complimentary book if you are a beginner following a method.

We got it next day under prime.
