I really detest most solar products, mostly because they never last as long as you would like. Or more often than not they are motion detection lights which I think are worthless. Si long story short I bought these not expecting much at all really but the price was right so I thought I would give them a try. I put them up the day they came and they have been working well ever since. So well that I ended up buying 4 more of them for the neighbor.If you are looking for a reliable and bright FLOOD light this is for you.

These are brighter than most solar lights I've seen so I was pleasantly surprised by that. I mean they won't light up an acre, but for my purposes they work great. We have an older pool and the lights don't work. I put these in the ground next to the pool shining into the pool and they light up everything so night use is not a worry. I don't know how long they stay on from a charge as I've not stayed up that late lol. But I've seen them on for 4+ hours at the same level of brightness which suite my needs fine.

These are pretty good lites...I bought them because they are NOT motion detector lights, I like that they are "always on" because I wanted continuous lite in the yard and not the off and on type of thing with motion lights which basically leave the yard pitch dark most the time! It's actually been difficult to find constant on lights that are solar. Most are motion activated which I think totally defeats the purpose of having LIGHT on in dark places to deter burglars. Anyway, this light has two settings - high and low. At first I set it to the high setting, but it didn't stay on for the entire night. Switched it to the low setting and that works better for a full nites illumination. I also like the light because you don't have to mount it to a wall or something (which can be difficult to do ). I like that it can be staked into the ground if you want. Not sure how long the stake will last in hot weather or harsh sun so that remains to be seen. So far, it is a good choice for me.

Not as bright as I thought it would be

Bought two of these for the dog area,easy installation and they light up the dark areas of the dog pen,if you have a dark area in your yard and you want to light it up?yes these will work ,lets see how they hold up!
