I bought ¿Dónde está Venezuela? as a gift for my nephew. Even though he has never visited Venezuela, he is always asking questions about the country where the rest of our family comes from. Somehow, despite never having set foot on our land, he has developed a deep sense of belonging and pride in his Venezuelan roots.This book touched all of us in ways we did not expect. Este es uno de mis cuentos favoritos, y significa mucho para mí como Venezolana con dos hijos nacidos en Estados Unidos. Leerles este libro es una forma especial de conectar a mis hijos con mis raíces, mostrarles cómo es mi hermoso país, y darles una idea de dónde nací y crecí. La historia es bellísima, con rimas que fluyen de manera espectacular, lo que hace que sea un placer leerlo en voz alta.Las ilustraciones son preciosas, llenas de detalles y colores brillantes que capturan la atención de los pequeños. Además, la calidad del libro es excelente: las páginas son gruesas y resistentes, lo que garantiza que soportará muchas lecturas.Tengo toda la serie en casa y he regalado este libro a varias amigas que, como yo, buscan formas de transmitir su cultura e historia a sus hijos nacidos en el extranjero. No hay un dia que pueda leerle ese libro a mi hijo para dormir sin que se me haga un nudo en la garganta. Esta hecho con amor y es perfecto para niños pequeños.

I love the book. I am reading it to my baby on the belly hoping that is gonna be her favorite book while she is out. I would love to have the hard cover instead of the soft cover that I bought . But that doesn't give the book less stars. I truly recommend it to every single Venezuelan around the world. I hope that while you read it dont cry as much as me. It is beautiful!!!
